    What lies Beneath!

Not sure if Kubota stamps their own sheet metal or if they outsource, but in dream world, it'd be nice if they would offer floor pans in a good grade stainless steel.

    Some ideas

As GreenvilleJay says industrial racking works great for either interior or exterior. It comes up for sale on Craigslist and other sites. If using outside it's easy to add some tin for cover. Wherever you place the rack it needs to properly anchored.

    B7100d fuel pump installation

What caused you to decide to change the fuel pump (no start)? Is it doing the same thing? Were /are you getting good flow from the tank to the pump? Ensure that the bottom of the tank, the shut off valve, and hose are clear. Where's the filter located (before or after the pump)? Is the new pump...

Do I need to remove grass before building up a low spot?

Until you have established good growth stay off of it with mowers especially the ones with high lift blades, weed eat the high cowlicks so it don't look so bad. Sometimes f you have a steep slope you may need to use degradable erosion control matting and staples. Another thing I like to do is...

    B7100D loader Hydraulics Restoration

You didn't say what year. No mater what the dealer or private owner told you, when acquiring a used tractor I'd recommend changing visible defective parts. I'd also change the coolant hoses, belt, check the fuel hoses and of course all oils, fluids, filters, etc. Pending the condition of oils...

Do I need to remove grass before building up a low spot?

As always do as you feel is best. On that small of an area I'd suggest adding a 1 inch layer at a time (rain will wash it in) to give whatever ground cover that's there now to come up, keep layering until you get to the desired slope. Just use your bucket and drop three little piles of good soil...

    Curling

LOL All this from a bunch of guys (myself included) who ride around on orange machines looking for something to do and spend lot and lots of money doing it. It's not good to think about how much our "sport" costs i.e. tractors, mowers, equipment, maintenance, housing, etc. not to mention the...

Too much play? Shim or not to shim on upper JBar grapple claws?

I agree with foobert regarding "slop". Personally I'm not a fan of headless pins with retaining groves, when I have equipment that comes with those, I convert to clevis with a head, washers and a spilt/cotter pin of the correct size. From your picture the grapple already needs some TLC, you...

    Shortening Hydraulic Cylinders

How much of the cylinder needs to be cut down? Is it possible to relocate the cylinder mounts to a lower part of the frame? If you cut the old ones down I'd suggest not cutting the cylinder end off but leave 1-2 inches to allow a square cut then remove the section needed and allow the second...

    Newbie still learning

Some tractors have both 540 and 1000 PTO RPM's, I'm guessing TSC doesn't want to chance running their cutter at a 1000 PTO RPM's. I'd suggest using a tachometer to confirm what the real engine RPM is with the PTO at 540 RPM. Use the transmission to determine the ground speed based on conditions.

    V1505 help with injection pump

Just rereading post #8 you indicated that you install another spring, was it the correct spring? how did you determine the old spring was weak? Based on the timeline you must have a parts distributor behind your house. In post #10 is that a crack in the pump assembly? the other picture not only...

    V1505 help with injection pump

On the cam I look for damage and scoring especially on the high point of the lobe. If any damage you'll need to consider a replacement. Was/is the roller on the lifter seized? If so try to determine the cause, you indicate that you found corrosion on the first tear down, were all of the rollers...

    Third function kit install question

Sounds like somebody will be buying their wife a grapple! LOL As always do as you feel is best. I'd follow the directions and if in doubt call Summit (they're good people) and they'll walk you through it. I deviated from their instructions and picked power up from a switched source in lieu of...
