I just finished building my homemade grapples, they were modeled from a landpride grapple. 3 week build from scrap metal $450 total price. I have lots of pics here's a few! L2501 homemade grapple/grill guard/ ballast/scraper! Thanks everyone for the info you've shared

It looks very capable. The mesh or the back side should protect the front of the tractor well.

Added 8 sandbags to my ballast box/scraper i think have the perfect amount of weight now I moved alot of wood today and never had a tire come off the ground.

The scraper box worked awesome also for cutting and leveling dirt.

Thought about building one myself after i bought one and was lost in transit. Seller wound up sending another one. Anyway very nice build i like yours better than what i bought

Thanks sardillim, These grapples are performing great so far they cut into the ground great and leave fresh dirt behind, I'm amazed at what I've accomplished so far and the grapples are undamaged so far?
