    V1505 help with injection pump

Additionally if you found corrosion in the pump you may have fouled injectors. Insure you have a clean water free fuel supply.

    V1505 help with injection pump

When's the last time this engine ran? Does it even try? Are you sure you're getting good fuel flow through the filter, mechanical pump, is the solenoid allowing fuel to flow into the injection pump is it popping out of each port (lines disconnected) are the lines clean? Were you careful...

MX5400 with 1065 FEL and JBar 66” Grapple questions

I'd suggest going over the tractor/FEL with a fine tooth comb, make a list with pictures to be given to the dealer for correction, make sure to take a picture of the sight glass. They should correct deficiencies and top off you fluid.

L3800 coolant change, 4 quarts out six quarts in?

Sounds like a venting issue. Any idea how much coolant came out?

    No tractor, still a Kubota

I guess it must burn after he disengages the compression release.

    No tractor, still a Kubota

I wonder what causes them to ignite in the cylinder. $20 almost makes me want to buy a can.

    No tractor, still a Kubota

It must some type early glow plug. it looks like some type of phosphorous sulfide coated wick that must burn off. They're putting it in right next to the injector. They had a full can which indicates they're still available. I'd guess this is a pre-emission engine. Is this engine covered by...

    +1 on what Fordteck86 said.

MX5400 with 1065 FEL and JBar 66” Grapple questions

The pictures didn't make it. There should be no loose fasteners anywhere. Nylon lock nuts should have at least 2-3 threads passed the nylon. Some use Teflon but must be very careful to start two threads back, I prefer sealant ( Loctite 545). I'm guessing the dealership installed the third...

    Replacing cam clutch

Wolfman's right on being square. Consider puling at least two (maybe 4) existing studs and making pilot studs with the correct thread to assist in bringing it in square. You are vey correct on not walking it in with nuts (do that and you'll have crocodile tears). Anytime you spilt a tractor, try...

quick disconnects in coolant for portable diesel coolant heater

Not to discount your idea but would you not be better off with thermostatically controlled electric block/ crankcase or in line coolant heater (lower hose), which would eliminate the need for 6 sets of couplers, balancing valves, pump, hoses every where, concern about venting, etc. I'd mount the...

    Vibrations while mowing!!!

I look at it this way, why would a manufacturer provide sharp blades to begin with?

    Wood chipper

Personally if I had to chose between a grapple and a chipper I get the grapple first. The grapple can move large and small pieces, the chipper will be limited. It would be nice to use the chips as ground cover but that's what bush hogs are for and you're moving material twice. With the grapple...

v1505T engine. Never started a diesel engine and may need assistance.

You'll need a wiring diagram and power to activate the starter, glow plugs, fuel shut off solenoid, etc., "A' should be the throttle, I believe "B" is the manual shut off and is non-functioning since you have an electric solenoid. Make sure there's a filter on the fuel inlet to the mechanical...

    Vibrations while mowing!!!

It might not be your problem but good practice on new equipment is to recheck all fasteners after the first couple of hours, check oil level and grease accordingly. Do your best to keep the underside clean. Eventually you may want to keep a spare set of blades in stock.

    Key switch problems

What problem caused you to change the switch? Is the new switch OEM? Check the condition of the wiring. Does the new switch have individual terminals or is it a plug, if individual confirm they're correctly landed, review your wiring diagram. I'd suggest disconnecting the glow plugs and putting...

    PTO Yoke Stuck

In your first post you indicated that the input shaft of the implement was splined, input shafts that use shear bolts are smooth. There must have been burs on the shaft that's causing the binding. When you attempted to install the yoke how much "tapping " did you do? Whatever you do do not put...

    B8200 - Creeping slowly

I wouldn't use anything thick that would gum up and collect dirt, WD40, PB Blaster, Kroil penetrant. If perhaps that's you problem it'll be on more thing to keep an eye on. As always, don't rely on the HST, engage the brake! Additionally are you keeping up with your fluid changes? Check your...

    Mud-go fast or go slow?

Talk about some seat time! +1 on the burning. If you're sure there's no trash, concrete, etc. then maybe a sickle mower would get down, but burning is in your future. Insure that your head lights work, because you'll be driving a lot. You need something that can pull a 15foot bat wing. Consider...
