    ZD28 Voltage Regulator Trigger Voltage

Hi, I gave up trying to sort the charging issue on my B600E and opted instead for the solution below, a solar panel that keeps the battery very well charged. Bernie

Strange coupling for B6000E pictures included

Hi, the strain is taken up by the chain attached to the front of the Kubota chassis with a chain link from the end of the scraper. I used it all on the gravel drive beforehand and it did a wonderful job just pulling in the gravel pushed to the edges. The fine tuning of the three point linkage...

Strange coupling for B6000E pictures included

Hi D2Cat, thank you for your comments and well spotted. Yes the wheel is there to ensure that the grader / scraper doesn't dig into the bordered wall and yes again I take it slowly as I need to monitor where the blade is hitting and where it isn't. I found, on my B6000E that the best speed is...

Strange coupling for B6000E pictures included

Hi all, just an update from last year and the three point linkage bar. I needed to design and make an implement that would scrape the edges of the menage where about 8 inches of sand had been pushed up against the boards. So I used the Massey Ferguson three point linkage bar and welded up an...

    B6000 Transmission

I know you posted sometime ago but I have a B6000E. It has a front PTO via an electric clutch that runs the Woods Belly Mower. I think it came as part of the mower kit however Kubota did make one but they bought in the electric clutch. The rear PTO has a three speed selector for it and I have...

B6000E throttle control, Advise / Help

Hi Wolfman, thank you for your advise, the throttle is now great and works correctly, so much so that I have managed to get my brother to use the throttle to stop the engine rather than pulling on the decompression lever. We used it all day yesterday clearing the back paddock and it made such a...

    Stopping a ZL600 engine on a B6000

Well there you go, me showing my lack of knowledge. I had assumed that when I pulled the lever on the MF it was a decompression release just like the B6000 but it sounds as if you are going to correct me. So to get back to my original question, before we get off topic, why not use the...

    Stopping a ZL600 engine on a B6000

Hi, can anyone tell me why Kubota say not to use the decompression lever to stop the engine, where a lot of other tractors only have the decompression lever to stop them, Massey Ferguson 135 a case in point? The signage on the Kubota says it should only be used when the battery is low on charge...

B6000E throttle control, Advise / Help

Hi Wolfman, yes the shaft end does look somewhat wrong in the picture however in order the get pressure on the lever I fitted a rubber O ring and could only get one side of a split pin through the hole. The shaft looked okay when I had it apart. Thank you for advise, I will try tightening the...

Fitted Suton Poo Picker / sweeper and cut PTO to fit B6000, All good till chain broke, PICTURES ATTACHED

I think the extra sprocket is to run a hydraulic drive that then runs a brush sweeper on the side, though thinking about it why wouldn't one just run it off the tractor hydraulics. Take a look at the Amenity sweeper on this website file:///C:/Users/berna/Downloads/5011-2.pdf It is from 2017...

B6000E throttle control, Advise / Help

Hi, the throttle on the B6000E is very loose and when using the belly mower, which it is recommended the tractor should be on full throttle, I have to tie the throttle lever down with a bungee cord. I have explored the forum and looked through the Kubotabooks owners and service manuals but...

Fitted Suton Poo Picker / sweeper and cut PTO to fit B6000, All good till chain broke, PICTURES ATTACHED

Road apples reminds me of a story my mother, now 95 tells, about her father in the 1930's - 40's rushing out into the street when the horses of the carriages they were pulling would defecate, opps sorry shit in the street. Apparently there was quite a rush of the neighbourhood to collect it for...

Fitted Suton Poo Picker / sweeper and cut PTO to fit B6000, All good till chain broke, PICTURES ATTACHED

I stripped the POO Picker down this morning and found only one cog on the other end. Apparently there was another device that can be run off the other cog at the top. I went to the manufacturer and had a discussion with them and bought three more links, just incase. Thanks for all your input...

Fitted Suton Poo Picker / sweeper and cut PTO to fit B6000, All good till chain broke, PICTURES ATTACHED

It is actually called an Amenity sweeper but as we use it regularly to collect the Horse shit off the paddocks poo picker was easier and it describes exactly what it does, picks up the poo. Sorry you don't admire our euphemisms, horse shit collector just doesn't flow.

Fitted Suton Poo Picker / sweeper and cut PTO to fit B6000, All good till chain broke, PICTURES ATTACHED

Hi, today I connected up the Suton Poo picker / sweeper and then cut the new 1200mm PTO down to 520mm, it was the only one they sold at the dealers. After an hours use behind my B6000 the chain on the sweeper broke and the engine stalled after the PTO jammed. I Stripped the sweeper and found one...
