Hi, the throttle on the B6000E is very loose and when using the belly mower, which it is recommended the tractor should be on full throttle, I have to tie the throttle lever down with a bungee cord. I have explored the forum and looked through the Kubotabooks owners and service manuals but cannot find anything. One post in 2017 said something about tightening a friction nut on the govenor but I can't find any information about how to do it. Has anyone got any advise regarding adjustments or adaptions that I can make to either stiffen up the lever that I can make? I've taken out the worn fibre, now shinny washer and replaced it with a rubber O ring, which has helped a little but not enough. I have considered taking the lever bracket off and using a die putting a thread on to it so I can put compression on it using a Nylock nutt. Has anyone solved this challenge? Thanks Bernie

Unbolt this bolt in blue and give me a picture of the back.
I don't like the look of the shaft end.

You would loosen the top nut then tighten the lower nut until the resistance is right.

Hi Wolfman, yes the shaft end does look somewhat wrong in the picture however in order the get pressure on the lever I fitted a rubber O ring and could only get one side of a split pin through the hole. The shaft looked okay when I had it apart. Thank you for advise, I will try tightening the regulater nuts to see if that gives me the resistance I am looking for. Thanks Bernie

Hi Wolfman, thank you for your advise, the throttle is now great and works correctly, so much so that I have managed to get my brother to use the throttle to stop the engine rather than pulling on the decompression lever. We used it all day yesterday clearing the back paddock and it made such a difference being able to set the throttle and also get the tractor to idle. Thanks again Bernie
