Oh yea, the tractor itself is running like a top. It's just this part of the ignition cycle that I was wondering about. Lights all seems strong. I installed a voltmeter earlier this year and it reads that the electrical system, or at least the batter, is operating just fine.
I'll check it...
Just replaced both fuel filters a month ago. Fuel is fresh, is not gas, and is treated. The clicking I'm referring to is the clicking one hears when the BX key is turned to the on position, but the engine has not yet fired. I believe this to be the fuel pump, which is located not he underside...
Hi-
while using my BX today I noticed that the clicking noise that I hear with the key in On position has started to sound sluggish. I believe this is either an electric fuel pump or solenoid...apologies not sure what this called. I’m used to hearing this and it usually sounds “lively”, but...
Hi-
Can someone who has the Summit Hydraulics 3rd function kit on their BX tell me if the kit installs to the loader valve? Or does it run directly to the hydraulic pump? I have the Kubota BX dual rear remotes kit already installed on my tractor and I may already be using the power beyond...
Thanks for all the suggestions on this!
I've looked into doing this myself, but can't get the Rim Guard back to my house easily - basically no way to transport it. For me, I think it makes more sense to just bring the tires in to the local Rim Guard dealer (not the tractor dealership, which...
Hi-
I'm not able to get my BX to a tire shop to get the rear tires loaded (no trailer and no truck) so I'll have to take them in the back of the Venza to the shop.
So here's my question; what is the best/easiest/least amount of hassle way of getting the loaded tires back on to the tractor...
Hi-
How many gallons of liquid ballast should be put into the rear tires of a BX2360 to get to approximately 75% full? I think the tires are 26x12-12.
Thanks!
Hi-
When purchasing a set of tires/rims from the Kubota dealer, is it more cost effective (or possible) to go thru sales (Wholegoods), rather than the parts department? I've found that in some cases, Wholegoods is cheaper and I was wondering if this was one of those times?
Thanks!
Anyone know if the 60-series has one of these? I've never noticed anything behind the top-link, but then again, I've never looked either. Would it be in the same location?
Hi-
I don't currently have this grapple, but I'm hoping someone who does can tell me what size and kind of quick disconnects this attachment comes with?
I'm trying to finish up a project to extend one set of my rear remotes to my loader to use to power this grapple and one of the final parts...
Hi-
Yea, pretty sure. The couplers that are there are the ones that come with the BX rear remote kit, and the part description says:
“COUPLER, 1/4 HN” and “GV 1/4"" PLUG, D- PLUG,DUST” for the dust plug.
Thanks!!
Hi-
Can you connect a 1/4” hydraulic hose to a 3/8” hose? I ask because the quick couplers on my rear remotes are 1/4” and the hose assembly on my loader is 3/8”. Is this possible/advisable? Could I just run 3/8” all the way and have the rear remote end of the hose terminate in a set is 1/4”...
Hi-
Did Kubota make some significant changes on the loaders for the 80 series tractors in terms of lift capacity? The lift capacity is not very different between the la243 (60 & 70 series) and the la344 (80 series), but the model number of the 80 series kind of suggests additional capacity...
Hi-
How much of the ram should one see when the bucket on a BX is on the ground, at rest?
I noticed this afternoon that I can see maybe 1.5” of the silver section of my BX’s curl cylinder after stepping in the bucket. Is this ok? Should I consider rebuilding the cylinder? Picture attached...
Thanks for the info. Regarding the Anaerobic sealant; you're suggesting putting on the outside diameter of the oil seal, where it comes into contact with the axle housing? Do you have a brand/type that you have had decent luck with?
