    Wiring Two LED Work Lights

Obviously I'm missing something - if I already have a fused (in-line fuse to battery) auxiliary fuse panel, that only is live when the key is on, and has a relay between the battery and the aux. panel...then would I still need to run both LED lights to a relay first, then to the fuse panel such...

    Wiring Two LED Work Lights

If I have an auxiliary fuse panel that is switched, and is connected to a relay already...do I then need to also wire the two LED work lights into a separate relay? Or is that over-relayed? Guys, sorry for what is probably a dumb question, but I'm pretty green when it comes to electrical - I...

    Wiring Two LED Work Lights

Hi- Can someone tell me how I would go about wiring together two LED work lights such that they can be turned on by one switch? Is it as simple as tapping into the positive wire of light A to the positive of light B and the negative of A to the negative of the B and then using A's wiring to...

    Diff Scare

That would be nice, but my BX doesn't have split brakes...obviously the answer is to get a bigger tractor with this feature ;-)

Why would Draft Control Lever be Frozen?

Ohhh, got it. Nope, no draft control on the BX. That said, the 3-point lowering control was seized up on mine when I first got the tractor. I'm assuming that was from non-use. Even if I'm not going to be using the 3-pt. I still find myself turning the lowering control just make sure it...

    Diff Scare

Interesting... So when I was testing mine yesterday, I was able to push down on the diff lock pedal and it did engage, but it wasn't instantaneous - like the pins had to line up with the engagement holes (probably not the technical term). At this point I about 99% certain I didn't break...

    BX Grill Guard Compatibility

I have the 60/70-series grill guard on my BX right now, but it doesn't offer much coverage in terms of not allowing wayward sticks to poke thru and take out the bonnet. I don't have the ability or tools to weld on additional protection, so...asking about the 80's-series (newer) guards. If it...

Why would Draft Control Lever be Frozen?

Not sure if this is the answer for you, but mine (on my BX) was frozen because it had never been used (as far as I know - bought the tractor used). I ended up using PB Blaster on the valve, let it soak overnight, then slowly turning the valve - worked like a charm. Again, not sure if this is...

    BX Grill Guard Compatibility

Hi- Anyone know if the newer fold down style BX grill guard will fit an older 60-series tractor? I ask this because while I have the 60-series grill guard, it doesn't offer much coverage in-terms of branches punching back thru the guard. Was thinking that the newer style guard offers better...

    Diff Scare

Well that was scary - I got my BX stuck on some slippery ground in the woods yesterday. In an effort to get myself unstuck, I thought I misapplied the diff. lock which I thought resulted in me breaking the pins. After thinking I did this (and mentally panicking), I didn't notice any unusual...

    Kubota BX Front Axle Seal?

Got all parts back from the dealer this morning and reassembled everything this afternoon. One side went on without any problems; this was the side I was having trouble with last weekend. I wasn’t expecting the other side to have issues but it did. After some fiddling around I decided to take...

    Debris Forks Question

Hi- I recently picked up a set of debris forks from titan attachments for my BX. I have not tried them yet, but am planning to as soon as the ground dries out enough. Should I get a chain binder of some type to use on the bucket so as not to develop a bucket smile? I don't plan on using...

    Kubota BX Front Axle Seal?

Nope, that’s a no-go; couldn’t get the all bevel gear housing bolts out. Got three out of four, but that last one was STUCK. Tried PB blaster, leverage, swearing...nada. I did get the other oil seal out, of the other side. I’m glad I did because it came out in pieces. Not really sure why it...

    Kubota BX Front Axle Seal?

Hmm, hadn’t thought of that. Great idea, thank you! I think my confidence is a little shaken by this as I was positive I could do this yesterday, now I’m second guessing my abilities. Thanks for the suggestion.

    Kubota BX Front Axle Seal?

Yep, I do know that. I ran into trouble trying to get the part of the seal that seats into the axle housing. I could not get it in without deforming/tearing the seal.
