    Location of Safety Switches L3010

The wiring diagram for the cab (that I do not have) in the WSM is more helpful. It shows the wire colors. It looks like I can ground the white wire from the starter relay to bypass the two safety switches. I'll try that this when I have some time to test it out before replacing the switches...

    Location of Safety Switches L3010

I am trying to bring back my L3010 that was damaged by fire in transport. The fire damaged the left rear of tractor. I have most things squared away but it does not start (or even turn over). I did the obvious (battery and ground cable cleaned). I had a new key switch on hand and replaced it. My...

    MX5100 Hood Problem

My neighbor has a spotless MX5100F used only for mowing. He is frustrated with a hood problem. When he unlatches and lifts the hood, it always disengages from the "hinge bar". Then he needs a second person to help close the hood properly. To me, it seems that the gas struts that hold the hood up...

    No sound from radio

Besides the mute button, if there is a source button, check that. Also, if there is a headphone jack, try pluging in headphones. Any sound through them? Usually a headphone check will mute speakers--something could have vibrated loose in the jack.

B2100 HST 4WD Separated To Find Oil Leak Left Side of HST

I am not sure if this is the right parts diagram for your tractor but it shows the o-rings (90) on the hydraulic pipe (80) that you can use as an example. You can check on https://apps.kubotausa.com/illustrated-parts/ or https://messicks.com/ to get the correct diagram and part number for your...

    OOPS! Let's see them!

When I have a vew days off, I put in new starter switch, some fuel and see it it cranks. If it runs, I vet a rear tire and it will be a permanent backhoe machine. I exect that I'll need to do some wiring plus a seat. One step at a time. I don't know about buffing but a rattle can or two will...

    OOPS! Let's see them!

I never found out. The suspicion was that the trailer tire caught fire from heat from the ungreased axle. That ignited the tractor tire and plastic/fiberglass/rubber that were sitting right above it. (Shipper has rear tractor tire center over rear trailer axle with all the 3pt equipment on the...

    OOPS! Let's see them!

Well, here is my oops. I guess it is my oops because the buck stops here. I hired a commercial carrier to transport all my equipment when i moved to AL from MA. I should have just bought a trailer and moved it myself. There was a fire somewhere in West Virginia. I suspect the bozos driving never...

    GR2100 PTO problem

check the hydraulic oil level. also, rereading lugbolt's post, wise advise to take the transmission apart to get all the fragments. out. I did not do that then but am doing it now as a major leak has developed. I had flushed it but I suspect a remaining fragment damaged seals.

    GR2100 PTO problem

I completeley agree. /rant on. It was fantastic for the first 500 hours then an endless disaster. I expect a $10k mower to last more than 500 hours. It has soured me on Kubota. Not becasue they designed and sold a piece of crap. But because of how they did not stand behind their product or...

The PRICE of super UDT2 - are you kidding?

I used UDT2 in my L3010 and L3710 when I lived up north. It helped with the cold weather HST whine. I am going generic now that I live in the south--as long as it is listed as meeting the "Kubota UDT spec". I think my warranty may have ended a little while ago.... ;)

    2017 GR2120 leaking hydrostat

LOL. It was a real question. I think it is an ingenious solution. Nylon seems like it would be easier to pull out (no stretching) but would be harder to keep in that channel. I know, I worry too much.

Cotten or nylon rope? I am almost ready to rebuild my GR2100 transmission--as a stress relief endeavor. :ROFLMAO:

    2017 GR2120 leaking hydrostat

I had a similar issue on a GR2100 and it turned out to be the hydraulic drain hose. (Part 10 in this photo) that goes from the back of the hydraulic oil filter housing to the top of the transmission. It is had to see but you can get a hand up there and feel for a pool of oil on top of the...

    Wrench and socket sizes?
