    Loader Bucket cross-reference

Yes, I thought about it. There is a lot to repair. After 25 years, it has, ahem, character. I am also considering getting a quick attach so I have more choices. I have found a few via facebook marketplace but seller never respond.

    Loader Bucket cross-reference

Is there such thing as a bucket cross reference for Kubota loaders? I have a LA480 and need a new bucket. I saw an ad for a used bucket for an LA525 near me. Both are 60in buckets but I can find any info on mount dimensions. The WSMs have detailed specs about loader lenghts but nothing on widths.

Having fun pulling stumps with Backhoe and ripper tooth...

I am experiencing a "benefit" of grinding stumps a few years later. The root braches have decayed leaving "tunnels". Water runoff has turned the tunnels into gorges. 🤬 The time I saved by grinding years ago is now spent opening up these underground gorges and filling them in. That ripper looks...

    Using wheel ramps

It turns out that I have the Rhino brand 10k ramps. I use them for my cars and for my truck (a GMC 2500 duramax) all the time. I tested with my tractor and they held up just fine. I was comfortable driving the front wheels. on. I was a little nervous backing up onto the ramps because the rear...

    Using wheel ramps

I use the resin ramps for my cars. I don't know what brand they are and they are only rated 10k lbs. I bought them at autozone so I assume they are chinese. They have a lip in the front to keep from driving off of them. I just use the parking brake rather the chocks that they also sell. They are...

    hst wire connector

How many wires are there? It may be easier to go to an auto parts store and get weathertight male and female connector pigtails and replace both sides.

    Disc Harrow or Rototiller?

We had Pinto/Paint horses for many years. When we moved to AL, I commented that she spends more time taking care if the horses, leaving no time to ride. First, I survived the comment. 😄 She thought about it and we (hah, she) is down to one Palamino at the moment and is riding a lot. We accepted...

    Disc Harrow or Rototiller?

The cartoon on the fridge says, she's into horses, he is into horsepower.... She has been riding since she was a 3yo.

    Disc Harrow or Rototiller?

Holy cow. That was my suggestion. When I prepared a riding ring for my wife, I used the box blade with a shortened top link. The aggressive angle of the shanks dig a great job breaking up the soil. He bought a 40 acre lot. I think they plan to be as self sustaining as possible.

He says the soil is crappy--mostly clay with a few inches of hard loom.

    Disc Harrow or Rototiller?

Thanks. See-I know nothing about this. 😬 It's central AL. It' mostly red clay once you get past the top soil. At my place, I have 3-5 inches of top soil then red clay. I'll ask him.

    Disc Harrow or Rototiller?

A friend is planning a garden plot for the spring. It will be about 4 acres. It is a mostly level grassy field. He has a Kubota L3301 and a box blade and brush cutter. He asked me what implement he should get to till the soil-- a disc harrow, a rototiller or something else. I know nothing about...
