Is there such thing as a bucket cross reference for Kubota loaders?

I have a LA480 and need a new bucket. I saw an ad for a used bucket for an LA525 near me. Both are 60in buckets but I can find any info on mount dimensions. The WSMs have detailed specs about loader lenghts but nothing on widths.

Three local Kubota dealers and ChatGPT could not help me. Sigh....

If its the skid steer quick connect it should match right up, I upgraded my bucket on a different tractor and a guy bought it for a skid steer. Very handy quick disconnect set up on these tractors.

Have you considered having your existing bucket rebuilt/repaired.
I did, and although it was as expensive as new, it was rebuilt to better than new.

Yes, I thought about it. There is a lot to repair. After 25 years, it has, ahem, character.

I am also considering getting a quick attach so I have more choices.

I have found a few via facebook marketplace but seller never respond.

I had my sweet little 1989 Ford 1920 FEL bucket repaired/rebuilt after 27 years.
The guy was an expert welder (worked in a shipyard), and did a superb job.
He was not cheap,...... but I was delighted.

I do not have a Q/A on the Ford either, but it does not really matter to me, as I have my larger Kubota, which does.

The bucket you need fits a very limited number of loaders.
LA450A
LA450S
LA450S-2
LA480
LA480-C

You will be better off swapping to an SSQA setup, then most SSQA buckets and other implements are available for you to use.

That is what I am thinking too.

I did find one nearby. It is a 5.5ft bucket (model # unknown). The measurement of the mount points is the same outside to outside. My current bucket is 2.5in between the mount brackets. This other one is 3in. Is it safe to use a bushing to keep the bucket from sliding on the loader arms?

Yes you could do that.
