Anyone try these (BX tractor upgrade)?

My son in law bought a Mahindra a couple years ago. Getting parts is a bitch and real expensive. He tried to convince me to go Mahindra when I was looking. Glad I didn't.

Anyone try these (BX tractor upgrade)?

Tempting but don't think its a good idea. If I need more travel, I will upgrade to a B or larger. Safer IMO.

    Loader bucket or snow pusher

Have been doing this last couple years. I adjust the pitch so the blade can contact the ground. Works great. Just received my front blade and plan on doing the same thing with it.

Recommendations for a quick attach pallet fork for a BX

What tractor do you have? If you don't have a ballast box for your 3 point, get one. The ones from redline are light but whatever you mount on your loader, you lose that much in lifting capacity. The ballast box compensates for that. I have around 250 to 300 in mine and helps allot.

Recommendations for a quick attach pallet fork for a BX

Got mine here. Great place for BX owners. I tried skid steer pallets but to heavy. These folks make them light and works great. https://www.redlinesystemsinc.com/

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Got around 6 hours in the seat moving crap out of the garage, cleaning it and putting some of it back. Been awhile since I cleaned the garage. Allot of crap built up thats going in the dumpster.

    Snow chains…do I need them?

I bought R4's for the winter and seemed to do a good job last winter. May keep my turf tires on to see if turfs are really better.

BX23's are NOT for mud gripe!

Nothing wrong with the BX as long as you understand its limits. Do I wish I went to a larger tractor? Hell yeah. We all wish for the next big tractor. But my BX as saved my bacon many times getting this done the same day instead of a few days. My old ass cant move hundreds of pounds of anything...

    Winter Storage Advice L4701

Sweet cover. What brand is that? Thats exactly what I need. If you don't use it in the winter, remove the battery. Keep it cold so varments don't look for heat to keep warm.

    Snow chains…do I need them?

Not fond of chains as they eat into the rubber. But at times I supposed they work out. When I had my rig, bought the cables instead, which saved my bacon a few times.

    Loader bucket or snow pusher

I always angle my rear blade to 45 degrees. Works well. Will do the same on my front one when snow hits the ground. I deal with long driveways.

Does this belong to my 1880?

Thanks for the heads up. Will check it out today.

    Loader bucket or snow pusher

I turn my rear blade backwards, then adjust the pitch. Works fairly well. With the front blade on the loader, should be able to adjust the pitch to work as good as the rear blade. I used to use a walk behind snow blower on my driveway. Sucked watching gravel come out the shoot. After a few years...

    Loader bucket or snow pusher

I do let the first couple inches freeze and compacted. But need the temp to stay under 20 or less to keep it froze. Am hoping for a colder winter so I can actually try my pusher again.

    Loader bucket or snow pusher

Helps with the weight plus I can actually see the blade so I don't ram into something.
