I pay attention to all BX posts as all of the BX series are pretty much the same except the engine and accessories. Glad you got it figured out. Dam good dealer.

Have you checked your radiator? Sounds like its clogged up and could use a cleaning.

How many hours on it since last oil change?

Finished my last grass cut so put on the new nickers (R4's) from my turf tires. Getting ready for winter.

I remove my deck and put on the larger tires for winter duty. Enjoy the lift of around 2 inches. Switch them back in the spring. No issues so far.

Just checking to see how many 1880 owners have installed larger tires? I put on R4's for the winter. Made for the BX23S. Have not had any issues doing this so far. Those who have changed, any issues?
