What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Received another attachment today for my spoiled BX. Should be able to get a tax write off like a kid.

    Homemade Generator

I just learned about PTO generators. Did a quick search and came up with this one my 1880 can handle. Have no idea what is good or bad on pto generators. I have 2 Honda gas generators that work great and trust...

Those tires look real aggressive. If you get them, please post your experience with them. Especially in the snow.

Are those tires considered turf tires? I put on R4’s last winter. Seemed to do better than my turf tires the year before for winter duties.

What years and models did Kubota start adding DEF ?

The bus company I drove for the last 5 years has nothing but problems with this emission BS Mainly in the winter. Always towing one back to the shop. When I upgraded to a 1 ton in 2021, wanted a cummins. Owned a 2000 with a Cummins and was a fool selling it. After all the costs involved with...

    BXpanded ?

I usually set the rear blade to 45 degrees. Also have my loader on to push back snow after I finish plowing. This new blade coming in, plan on shortening the that hitch rod a little as that will help push back snow instead of using the loader. Allot of options with these smaller tractors. Just...

    BXpanded ?

Adding sheet metal to the tines is a good idea. I put a mesh wire on mine hoping it would collect leaves but without wheels to keep it from digging in, cannot use it. Still on the hunt for a set.

    BXpanded ?

I know. But since my 1880 is 48 inches across, will help not pack snow driving across it. Plus remove allot so the 3 point blade can do the rest. Has multiple angles to adjust to so will test each one out for optimum plow. Don't plan on using it if only a few inches drop. Thanks for the heads up.

BX 2380 Wheel Spacers and 54" MMM

From what I have read, us 1880 owners are limited to 2 1/2 inch spacers or the mower will rub on the tires.

    BXpanded ?

Decided to try the blade from heavy hitch. If it doesn't work like I want it to, then back to the drawing board. Should help clear my front since my 1880 is 48 inches wide or so. Now watch, wont get any snow to test this out.

    BXpanded ?

Am considering this one. Not as large as I want it but can take the forks off and use the hitch portion to mount up front. Plan is to only use this in heavy snow and leave it about 2 inches off the ground to clear most of the front. Then let the rear blade to the rest...

    BXpanded ?

I will have my 6 foot 3 point blade on the back. Would actually want a UTV blade up front as those are lighter. I put on R4's in the winter with no problems moving around on snow. Just want a front blade so all I have to do is one pass instead 2. I take care of our neighbors driveways as they...

Pros and cons of snow removal options

Looked up a 54 inch. A little over 4 grand. Too much for my blood. I would go rear push if I would get one and deal with the neck pain. A bit cheaper. But with the lack of snow these past years, my rear blade is doing pretty good. Just need to get a front blade of same size as my 3 point.

Would like to see the field you cut after a few frosty beverages. Can imagine a figure 8

Pros and cons of snow removal options

That lo That looks cool. Don’t think my 1880 would pull that heavy beast. If I get another tractor, a B would be on my list. Maybe a L.

BX 2380 Wheel Spacers and 54" MMM

I hope not. Hope to order during winter months so ready for spring cutting. I don’t have my ROPS up all the way so I can get into the garage. Kept forgetting to lower it so now it’s locked at 60 degrees.

Pros and cons of snow removal options

Have looked at a rear blower but my neck would hurting pretty bad afterwards. A rear 3 pt blade has been working good for me. Will be adding a front blade to go on the loader soon.

Go research bush hog. Maybe find a rental to see your tractor can do the job before buying another tractor.

If your 2380 is working fine, why get something else? Just get the right attachment.
