Was thinking that too. Saw a few online used but the price they are asking, can buy a new one for about same price.

    3 point back blade ?

Have turf tires with air only. No way I would lift the snow pusher more than a foot when moving. Have operated front end loaders years ago working for MnDot. Learned real quick to leave bucket close to ground until ready to dump. 5 foot blade would extrude beyond the tractor. My loader has a 4...

    3 point back blade ?

Been reading folks using ballast box on back of their tractor for ballast. My BX1880 is fairly small so thinking of a 3 point back blade for ballast. Is anyone using a back blade for ballast? Only time I think I will need ballast is in the winter when plowing. The snow pusher I ordered is 300...

    Rear axle lock ?

I know if your on pavement not to use the diff lock as that will damage the rear end. Would only use in the winter time when needed.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Ordered the SPL0548 which is the 48 inch pusher. Don't think I will have any issues since my bucket seemed to push it fine on last storm. Just got the tractor the day before the last storm hit. Was going with a blade but the pusher won't dig up my driveway as much as a blade does.

    Rear axle lock ?

Read the manual a few times but didn’t see it. My 1880 has the lock rear differential option. Have noticed 4 wheel drive is not true all 4 wheels lock all wheels. So, can I engage the differential lock and the 4 wheel drive at the same time? Thanks.

    SPL0548 snow pusher

Have a BX1880. Been looking around for a used snow pusher but everything is 6 feet wide or more. Am afraid if I go larger than the 4 foot SPL0548, I’ll have issues pushing snow with a larger amount of snow with the bigger ones. The 4 foot one should match up to my tractor. Or am I thinking wrong...

Woe is me... Ballast box problems

So whats the benefit of using a quick hitch instead of just mounting to the 3 point hitch? Still learning this stuff.

    Snow plow for BX1880

Thanks for the replies. Not a welder but do know some folks who do so that’s an option. Have plowed snow for 30 years plus. Used to use a side by side for years without any issue pushing 10 inches of snow. Usually don’t get more than 6 inches at a time except this year was a bit more. This year...

    Snow plow for BX1880

Have a couple day’s experience on my new 1880 that has exceeded my expectations. Am already researching my 1st attachment for next winter. Snowplow. Would love a snow blower but out of my price for the new future. Want to be able to disconnect my bucket and hook right in a snowplow. prefer to...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I broke in my new 1880 I brought home this morning. Been using a walk behind snow blower past few years. My old bones can’t handle my long driveway anymore. Have some serious large snow piles to move with all the snow we got this year. This 1880 worked fantastic doing a little snow moving after...
