Working on a 2022 BX23S with 80 hours. Tractor will not stop when I lift off the pedal going in reverse, forward is fine. I did get a WSM manual and it shows to loosen the bolt on the bracket but is pretty vague on what to do after that. I marked where it is set at, loosened the bolt to the point it may fall out, but I could not get the bracket with the slotted teeth to move. I didn't want to remove the bolt, afraid everything would fall off or I would lose it's position completely. What is the trick or technique to move the bracket just a little? Thanks in advance for the help!

hmm. Tractor will not stop when I lift off the pedal going in reverse

do you mean
1) engine does not stop running

2) tractor keeps moving in reverse

Engine running, tractor keeps creeping backward when I let up on the reverse pedal. I used the procedure in the manual. Tractor raised with right rear wheel off, axle slowly turns in reverse when letting up on pedal. Manual says to adjust switch until it stops. I loosened the bolt to the point it's going to fall off but can't move the bracket, not sure how to do it, manual is vague.

Why are you adjusting the neutral switch? That does not control motion. Motion is controlled by the HST valve which is controlled by a mechanical linkage. If the tractor is creeping the pedal/linkage is not returning to the neutral podition.

The switch tells the ECU when the linkage is in the neutral position. Its one of the logic inputs to the starting and operator presence safety interlocks.

pretty sure you want to adjust rod #050 to get neutral to be neutral. There is NO switch to select 'neutral' on the fwd-neu-rev pedal.

Bolt #180 is what you have to move to another spot on the slotted #200 piece. I think it's the 'coarse' adjustment and what I showed was the 'fine' adjustment ?

Did you try easy fix first, greasing the pedal pivot point nipple through the floor board?

That's the 1st Zerk I grease when I go 'round and round, as I missed it a few times ( hidden under the floor mat....)

when mine acted up I made sure it was greased , that didn’t help so I used some spray lube on everything that moved and drove it and that made a big difference. It stops 85% of the time I let off the pedal. Hopefully with use it will work all the time like it used to. Good luck with yours
