Ok I bit the bullet and shelled out the 430.00 for a Hydraulic pump for my tracktor. I think the fluid went to low and seized up the other one.
Now when I replace it how do I get fluid to the pump, since it is powered directly off the side of the engine?

Is there any prelube recomendations???

Where is the side plug to determine fluid level?

Any thoughts on how to determine if over filled Hyd resivour???

Tractor is a B7200HST disel 3 cyl 1986----Orange......aprox 900 hrs...

Thanks, Kelly in Van Meter Iowa......

When I did the pump on my b7200 I pretty much just stuck it in tightened everything up and fired up the tractor at an idle. Just check the dipstick to make sure hydraulic fluid is sitting on the full mark. I don't remember bleeding the system or any other procedures.:D Dusty

If for some reason that still doesnt work, you can pour some oil in the pressure side of the pump, or fill the filter the best you can to try to help create a suction on the hyd. oil.
