    Yard Cleanup Bucket for L-series

I've got an L2501 with the 66" SSQA bucket. I've done a good bit of grading and moving/loading wet and heavy clay soil and rocks with that bucket, and it IS right-sized to the machine for that type of work. Backhoe is always on for counterweight. Where I run into trouble is when I'm cleaning...

    wow, the unicorn does exist

worth noting before someone calls it out. . . The deal on the L2501 was so good i did start to panic afterwards that maybe it had an outstanding lien on it. When i searched the PA database a lien did come up under the guy’s name, but showed paid off. I paid the ~$5 to get a copy of the full...

    wow, the unicorn does exist

CL deals really do exist, they’re just the needle in the haystack anymore. I paid ~5k under market for my L2501 w/20 hrs on it and it’s been fabulous. last yr i picked up a ZT for $400 on CL that needed $95 in parts and basic repairs. Sold it for $1400, on CL 3 wks later.

    wow, the unicorn does exist

Did you go peek? Rly curious what the history on this thing is. It just looks too nice for something that old, even if it was repainted.

    wow, the unicorn does exist

yeh, I'm only ~30 mins from Nazareth. Was tempted to go see it, but if I don't go see it, I definitely avoid buying it :)

    wow, the unicorn does exist

I keep hearing "you can buy a used mini-ex for the cost of a BH". I watch my local craigslist all the time and I've NEVER seen anything even close until today: https://allentown.craigslist.org/grd/d/nazareth-mini-excavator/7264057666.html looks like it's barely even been used. . . maybe an...

    BH77 Linkage

FYI, I broke down and picked up the WSM for this myself and shared with kubotabooks after standing at the scanner for 45 mins :) You can find it here now: http://www.kubotabooks.com/AutoIndex/index.php?dir=Backhoes/&file=BH77%20Backhoe%20-%20Workshop%20Manual.pdf Nothing is shown for the...

    Smoky L2501

Picked up a 2018 L2501 w/20 hrs on it a few months ago. Runs great, but has always seemed quite smoky in comparison to my old BX25D. I know this engine is nearly twice the displacement, so I expected more smoke and smell, but it still seems fairly heavy. I hadn't run it really hard for any...

    Question on Kubota BH75 Dipperstick

I have to ask, how the heck did you bend the dipperstick? I’ve owned two kubota tlb’s, and both hoes felt like they run out of pressure long before you’re bending anything.

    Trailer size for L2501

I just went with an Aluma 7818 for my L2501 with backhoe. There's no room to spare lengthwise if you set the backhoe down straight, but it fits well and gives me the proper tongue weight distribution. If you set the backhoe down to the side, you have some room to go forward or back. I...

    BH77 Linkage

I'm about to do the same, as in, just adjust it to what makes sense to me. I will tell you my guides have zero grease on them right now, but I'll be adding some. I can't see what harm it would cause. I'm still not decided on whether I'll loc-tite the bottom bolts just slightly shy of snug to...

    L2501 Modifications

Please keep us updated. I also recently acquired an l2501, and would love to see another 5ish hp out of it. Would you consider doing a step by step guide once you’re satisfied the mods are solid? I love the torque this thing makes at low rpm’s, but it seems to smoke a fair bit unless i bring...

15-20 is pretty steep. at 20 degrees, on my L2501 with L,M,H, I'd want to be in low gear

    BH77 Linkage

Anybody have the WSM for the BH77 that can share the procedure for adjusting/maintaining the linkage? I've watched the handful of youtube vids out there, but I think everyone is guessing on: 1) should the linkages be greased where they pass through the upper guides? 2) how tight should the...

    BX25D -> L2501?

Nope, I went to a ZT for mowing. I sold the BX and ordered up a snow pusher and rear blower for the L.

    Snow blowers SB vs BLMX

reviving the thread. . . I'm looking at the same two blowers. What did you end up getting?

What size snow pusher for L2501?

Thx! 24” or 30”? Also, you think the 5’ is wide enough to clear around a mild curve to keep the rears out of the snow? I have r4’s
