What size snow pusher for L2501?

What would be the correct size snow pusher for an L2501? My driveway and parking area is all paved, so I' believe I'd be looking for a rubber edge, and I would prefer one of the 'pullback' models where you can flip down and use the other edge to pull back from garage doors. I was looking at a...

    BX25D -> L2501?

I don't have a lot of property (2.5 acres), but it seems I'm always tackling jobs where I'm straining my BX. It's mainly loader lift, but the few stumps I've dug (not that big) have been quite a chore as well. Recently I put in 3 new 8-12' trees , and I couldn't lift them from my dump trailer...

Busy 3 days for my BX25D - Retaining wall rebuild

Thanks! I considered it, but the new stuff is a lot easier to get proper drainage with. The old wall had been leaning for at least 20+ years.

Busy 3 days for my BX25D - Retaining wall rebuild

Thought you guys might enjoy these pics: http://gallery.netmagi.com/v/projects/91ctrwall/ Retaining wall collapsed at a rental house I own and rebuilt it with the help of two friends and my BX over a 3-day period. Could have probably done all this by hand, but BX was absolutely the right tool...

    BX5450 Snowthrower (w/pics)

Will have to check mine. I have zero corrosion on mine. I have plenty of exposed metal in my impeller housing, but I spray it with silicone spray at the beginning and end of the season, and I store it inside. I realize most people probably don't store their implements inside, so I would...

    Wheel Loader Battle (video)

Insane. . . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UrtnIImGipg Six machine fight on the streets of Hebei, China, over what was apparently a contract dispute between two competing companies.

Completely agreed. . it's easy to discount the BX based on it's size, but it's still a HEAVY 4WD machine with a lot of torque.

    Snowblowing Video

I considered it, but as we never got more than ~10" at a time last yr, and it chewed it up so well, I kind of wanted to see how it would handle 2' or more of snow. Might have been underpowered with a bigger blower, but I had no problem with the BX5450 at full depth.

    Genset 12v Controller Wiring Diagram

Hi Guys, I put in a backup generator this year, and I purchased a complete genset that came wired with a key switch. "Mis-wired" I might add, since the glow plugs didn't even work, but I didn't much care, as I knew I'd be putting a controller on it and re-wiring everything anyway. The...

Grading with Bucket is hard. Any tips?

Where I live, the soil is so hard, rocky, "clayish" that I usually have to backdrag with the front wheels off the ground to get anything done. Even with weight in the bucket, it just rides over stuff. When I had a foundation done last summer, the guy that did the backfill and grading was doing...

    Aluma 6812H Trailer + BX25D

Thanks for the replies everyone. It has hoops welded in the center, along the rails, but I have a set of (4) recessed ring-type tie downs with 1/2 thick backing plates that I haven't gotten around to installing yet on the 4 corners of the floor. I've seen other people use the stake pockets as...

    Aluma 6812H Trailer + BX25D

In case anyone was wondering on this combo. . . I know I spent a lot of time when I was trailer shopping trying to figure out what would fit on what, and didn't find many "loaded" pics. I previously had a 5x8 carry-on el-cheapo steel trailer, and swapped it for an Aluma 6812H when I got tired...

What an idiot! - wrong PTO Lever

Thank you all for the feedback. I'm gonna stop stressing about it, and hope it's ok, since I have no way of actually testing it :) I gotta say, the 54" deck cuts damn nice. So much better than my old husqvarna 52". I do get rub with the 1.5" spacers and R4's if I bring the deck all the way...

What an idiot! - wrong PTO Lever

The idiot being me in this case :rolleyes: So. . ~60 hours on my BX25D, all doing snow clearing, and then landscaping this spring, and this weekend it was time to cut my grass for the first time. I uncrated the deck, lubed it, put it on, and had at it. Got towards the end of cutting...

Too Steep for Orange BX25 Love?

I have a large portion of my front yard (about half an acre) on a 20-25 degree slope. BX goes up and down no problem in 4WD. As a test, I sidehilled at ~22 degrees, and I can easily pull the uphill side wheels off the ground by yanking on the ROPS while standing next to it. I run R4's and...

    Awesome BX fork option!

Not sure which ones you're referring to, but the set I have are quick attach. They are available for the proprietary mytractortools Q/A. or the Kubota Q/A. I ordered mine spec'd for the Kubota Q/A. You can see the Kubota Q/A behind the forks easier in this shot from the side. -Rich H.
