I was hoping for some clarification. What is the cap you are referring to? And I was reading this as to grease the telescoping part of the shaft. I have seen them left dry and others grease them.

I welded 2 hooks onto a door sized burglar bars. Heavier then a piece of chain link, it stays flat to work on those high spots and is easy to load up on the trailer to transport to a job. If needed it is easy to add some extra weight.

You might think about adding a scraper blade to keep the debris from sticking to the roller. I have one with a steel pipe and without the scraper it will not stay clean very long.

Photos might help. Just to check for something you might be over looking.

The Simple Green is good stuff too. It works well in the laundry washer to get the grease. oil and the smell out.

I just goggled "3 point drop fertilizer spreaders"and there are several makes and models. Several in the 3 and 4 foot width. But they think they are made of gold.d I was wondering if dropping sand would do you any good? I would think the areas like steps could be hand salted and the rest...

Re: Waht are you using to clean up after oil change I think it is called Purple Power. Spray it on BEFORE ANY WATER then let it soak for a few and then rinse it off. A 1 gallon garden sprayer is a great thing to use to apply it.

If the space is going to have a camper parked on it why not leave it dirt and concrete the rest. You can always concrete it later. Also you might make the walls tall enough that you can build a lean to on the sides and rear as needed. If the are never needed then very little extra money was spent.

I am not sure what you want to do with your trailer but I can share some things from my dealings with trailers. Both the trailers that you posted have some issues. The ramps that are showing cause severe wind drag so fuel mileage is poor. The 2 narrow ramps will not come together in the middle...
