    B3200 trouble starting

If it is a HST rock the foot leaver around a bit and make sure it is centered. If that don't do it check the battery.

    Fuel

If it looks & smells like diesel and has been stored inside I'd use it in the tractor. I've stored diesel up to around a year with no problems.

    Does Kubota care?

    Un-needed concern and worry.

    4WD working properly?

A bevel gear is usually the big ring gear in the hub where the front wheel bolt on. Maybe it needs one of them also?

    4WD working properly?

The ring gear has to be replaced, as the ring and pinion are sold in a match set. Not sure if they are shown separate on the parts list? When I did the L3750 I spent around $1500 & didn't replace everything your showing here. I'd talk to them and see if it can be done with less parts & I'd ask...

    L3800 Shuttle shift operation

TripleR has it right. Don't you have an owner's manual? The lever you are calling "shuttle shift" on the left side of the seat, is just the shifting leaver for Forward Reverse & High Low range. You have to clutch it to change gears.

    Stainless King Kutter, Brush hog

Salt use on the roads isn't going to have any effect on a brush hog, unless you are driving it on salt treated roads. We have salt on the roads here and have 3-4 old brush hogs that are 20-35 years old and are not rusted out. They are left outside all the time. I would not pay double for...

    L3800 Shuttle shift operation

The L3800DT has a non synchronized trans. Have to stop and clutch it. Old school gear trans with a separate leaver for forward/reverse. Our old 3750DT has a Hydraulic Shuttle, no need to stop or clutch it. The only basic L with a synchronized shuttle is the L4600DT, but still have to clutch...

    L3800 range shift lever stuck

Happened to mine once. The leaver got into a bind between H & L range. I got a large screw driver down there and pried it free. Has been fine since.

    L3800 Shuttle shift operation

You have to come to a complete stop and use the clutch. It's not a shuttle shift, but just a forward/reverse.

Help me understand the differences in these PTO specs.

I kind of wanted a L4600DT when I was lookin, but dealer didn't have em yet and all L4400 were gone. But couldn't pass on a like new L3899DT for 15k. Figured I'd keep the 3800 and get something in the 50-60hp range at some point.

Help me understand the differences in these PTO specs.

Spot on. I like the 2 stage on the L3800DT. Don't care much for a electric pto switch. The L4600DT does have a very nice synchronized gear trans.
