Things I have done with my L3800 so far

Good review, but I have a slightly different take on this tractor. I have gear drive and prefer it over HST, just personal preference. The loader on mine is stronger than I expected, not just barley strong enough. Best thing I did for loader works was add a substantial counter weight to the 3...

Kubota L3200 50hr service safety switch?

Lube up the pedal good, so it springs back into neutral easily. Might need adjusting also.

    is water safe for rims?

Beet Juice is heavier than water, good stuff but expensive. I'd probably use it if the dealer here offered it, but they don't. The water/alcohol works fine for me.

    is water safe for rims?

Yep. I ran water for years in the south and never had any rust. Here in Mo we run a water / alcohol mix.

    concrete ballast block size?

Yep, 1K would do good. I'd load the rear tires too, but that does not take the place of 3 pt counter weight.

    Wholly Fungus Humongous

This summer was the first time I had any problem with it in 30 years. I never actually saw any algae in mine, but changed filter and treated fuel, no more trouble.

L245DT Trans/Hyd oil smells like hypoid gear lube???????

Mine didn't have a FEL, but the 3 pt worked with the 80W.

L245DT Trans/Hyd oil smells like hypoid gear lube???????

My old L245 took 80W gear oil in the trans. So I'd say that's what was in yours to start.

    L4600 rear wheel weights?

Tire and wheel weight is good, but still need 'counter weight' on the 3 pt to 'counter' the load of the FEL. The rears tires of my L3800 are loaded, but it still has very little traction at the rear when the bucket is full. Add 500-1000 lbs to the 3 pt and it is a different animal...

Replace fuel filter and bleed injector lines. Bet it will be fine.

First full day on new b2650- stalled a few times

Lift the seat and look, there should be a metal tab that makes contact with the switch. Bend that tab out to make more contact with the switch. This is too easy...

    New owner question

You're over filled. The fluid is clear and the only thing visible in the site glass is the 'line'. If the tractor isn't on level ground the line doesn't show. Drain most of that back out.

    L 3800 question/troublshoot? Fuel?

I just went to the local two pump station up the road (town is 23 miles away) that most of the farmers around here use and asked the lady what everybody used, she sold a bottle of gold colored stuff and said this is the stuff. It worked...

    L 3800 question/troublshoot? Fuel?

Mine was doing this a couple months ago and it was not the seat switch. Mine was a fuel problem. I treated the fuel in the tank and the other 4-5 jugs I have and changed the fuel filter. No more problem. Heard from a couple others around here complaining about junk growing in the fuel tanks.

The l3200 or b2650 debate is over

A few blocks might help. Thing is, these small rigs have very little traction at the rear tires when a FEL is bolted on and all that extra weight is hanging out in front of the front axle. So most folks just put it in 4wd and don't worry about it. This puts the major load, weight & pulling on...
