    L3400 jerky 3PH

I'm kind of in a similar situation, having a old L3750 and a newer L3800. The 3750 is 1300 lbs heavier, has 45 hp, a silky smooth 3 pt & a much larger FEL. But I still like the L3800 better, because of size and it's in much better shape. The 3750 is much larger and had a long rough life. The 00...

    Disking With / Without Loader

The L3800 has a very short wheel base, this makes a more bouncy ride and the weight of the FEL makes it noticeably worse. Counter weight on the 3 pt hitch does help and is a must! But the tractor works much better with the FEL off!

    L3400 jerky 3PH

Your 2850 is in a different class. The L3200, 3400 & 3800 are basic L series. The L2850 is in the Grand L class and should be compared to the L3240 or want ever the smallest grand is now. Nothing has been "cheapened up", just different models in different price ranges.

    L3400 jerky 3PH

Kubota is not following the trend to cheapen the quality of their tractors. The jerky thing is odd though. Mine is not that bad...

    Disking With / Without Loader

My loader stays Off unless I Need it. The tractor works so much better mowing, box blading, disking, etc with the loader Off! 5 minutes to take it off, or put it on...

Crunchy chirp from front wheel (4x4)

The owner's manual on these tractors says Not to flip the front wheels wider. It wont help anyway. Now setting the back tires out helps a LOT. Again, need plenty of weight on the 3 pt!

    New L3800

Yes, HST is noisy. If loosening and re-tightening the loader bolts doesn't work, chain the high side to a stump and left with all she's got.

Crunchy chirp from front wheel (4x4)

Also, a lot of loader work without enough 'counter ballast' (weight) on the 3 pt will kill a front-end. Especially when in 4wd... Been there, done that!

L3200 warm up normal or an issue

I had my first fuel related problem earlier this summer. The fuel filter & bowl looked fine on the L3800, but it just didn't run right, would act like it was running out of fuel every 10-15 minutes. I treated the fuel and after a hour more use, replaced the fuel filter. No more troubles...

    Diff. lock petal

Actually this forum is pretty mild. Had you posted this on the larger tractor forum, you would have been dragged through the colas.

    Diff. lock petal

Very cool video! It also explains the need for diff lock some what. And yes, you do have plenty of weight on the 3 pt. Larger tires, loaded and wheel weights might help? But you are getting your moneys worth out of that rig! I do very similar stuff with my L3800DT. I really like the...

Id take the M4500 over the L3300. Huge difference between the two.
