I have a B6200 and just drained the tranny fluid to change it. Unsure of how many hours are on the oil but I have put 100hrs on it since I bought it used. The old tranny oil is black black black. It is just as black as the motor oil I changed last week. What color should it be.
Thanks

Black trans oil means its seen a lot of hours in dirty conditions. If its an HST, it should be a little lighter than the color of honey, if its a gear trans, it should be a little darker. Run it for a few hours and see what color it is now, if its still a darker color, I'd suggest changing it again. It'll pay off in the long run.
