72" Land Pride GS1572 or 72" EA Land Shark 5.1

I have no idea, but they are both orange so either should be fine ;)

L2501 Hydraulics - How far is too far?

I've not measured my psi, but I've not really had an issue with needing more lift power. If I did need more, my first approach would be to measure and shim if it wasn't at max rated already. Even though it is a lighter tractor, I've not had a problem with lifting the rears. The BH77 is plenty...

    Deer whistles

Of course they're bogus. You simply can't train a deer to blow a whistle ;)

BXpanded BH77 Backhoe Quick Attach Video Review

When I switched back to my bucket, I did not have any issues with the pin, it lines up like it should. Mine was new in late 2017 so the hole position sounds like it has changed since then. I do have the 2 contact points you circled in yellow, but only barely. It touches at full curl but has...

L2501 Hydraulics - How far is too far?

I don't really do ground work, mostly loader and backhoe stuff. I wanted the lightness and ground clearance so the big B was better suited for me. If I wanted more weight, I would have gone with the L for sure. With the backhoe, counter weight is no problem and is adjustable. Again, sorry for...

L2501 Hydraulics - How far is too far?

Thanks for the response. I asked the dealer that same question. His response was that essentially double the LA # and that's how much it lifts. So I said that means the 2650 will lift more than the 2501? and he said "in this case, yes". Why? He didn't know. Your answer makes a lot more sense.

L2501 Hydraulics - How far is too far?

I know this is off topic, but I've always wondered why the ?bigger l2501 has the LA525 lower rated loader and the ?smaller b2650 has the LA534 higher rated loader. I know it's only 18 theoretical pounds difference in lift capacity, but still. The 2650 is also rated for slightly heavier lifting...

    2 speed BX vs 3 speed B ...?...

On dad's BX I would use high for moving around, say from the front yard to the back. Once I needed do anything I would put it in low and work. On my B2650 I do most everything in Med. Med is fast enough to get around with unless I'm headed down the road, and still strong enough to do most...

    Adding outside temp display?

I just let the dog in. If he's wet it's raining, if he's white it's snowing, if he wouldn't go out in the first place it's too cold to be on the tractor ;)

    B2650 loader joystick alterations

On mine, no matter what position the tilt steering wheel is in, the loader joystick can't come even close to touching it. I don't have a 3rd function installed. A pic might help in this case.

    Loosing Memory

Yeah, that's a common statement. Just after surgery most of my patients complain that we caused them to have wrinkles, their house was much more dusty/cobwebs, and most of their dark colored socks were all mis-matched. These things weren't there prior to having their cataracts fixed, so we...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

They've been complaining about me for years. I haven't ordered a new load yet. I've decided to box blade down 2-3 inches, put down geo mat of some kind, then re-spread over that, then cover with fresh crusher run. One of these days I'll actually get to that.

    B2650 / BH77 Backhoe worth it?

I've got the same set up. In short, it's only come off once when I had to boxblade the gravel drive. I've used it for small and huge stump removal, and way too many other tasks to list. Most of those things could have been done a different way, but the backhoe was there and made things...

    BH77 Backhoe storage care

Sounds like a winner. Until then pallet/tarp method should work fine. WD40 just displaces water to prevent rust. Cheap, fast, easy, but not a long term solution as it doesn't last long. Waxing lasts longer but is more time,$, work. To be honest, if the shed will be done in a month or two...

    BH77 Backhoe storage care

Wouldn't hurt to empty a can of WD40 over most of it. The tarp will minimize UV,rain, snow exposure and the WD40 will minimize oxidation. Good excuse to use that BH77 to build a shed of some sort.

    Knee replacements and MMM

I've got a zero turn for mowing as well. When I go to buy a new piece of equipment (toy) and the boss (wife) complains of the cost, I just remind her how much knee and back surgery costs. I'm hoping to get 7 or 8 more years out of this new knee, many many more years out of the tractor ;)

    Best implement to grade this?

We are great at spending someone else's money. By all means, you have an excellent excuse to buy a box blade.
