    Battery Tender/Maintainer

I don't actually undo the connection, I use a disconnect switch. https://www.amazon.com/Universal-Disconnect-Terminal-Isolator I only takes a few seconds and it's cheap insurance against and errant draw on the battery

Help, box blade width for on B2650 w/cab

I run the 60" EA box and haven't had any issues. Digging heavy into a 30 y/o compacted gravel driveway I had no issues with power or traction. I'm on filled turfs. I don't know about the warranty, but I can't see it breaking stuff before it looses traction.

    Battery Tender/Maintainer

Personally, I don't use one on the tractor. It gets used often enough to not need it most of the time. If I know it's gonna sit for more than a month I just disconnect a terminal. I have not added anything so unless there is a starter or alternator problem, it should be good. If you've added...

New B2650 arrived, thanks all (pics)

Congrats !! Keep an eye on the BH fittings. They tend to loosen a bit after the first several uses and can leak. A quick check with a wrench can save a bit of a mess and some hydro fluid.

    Operator's Manual Explanation

For what it's worth, my new 2650 came from the dealer with loaded tires and BH77 installed. I don't always lift both tires off the ground while digging, but sometimes I have to. Haven't had an issue yet. Outriggers have held up to some serious abuse so far. Maybe I'm just lucky so far.

    Rear Blade

I got the EA box blade, with plans to by the 6 way blade later. I would not recommend the 60", I was planning on the 72" for my use. I ended up using the box blade for everything I needed and decided against the blade. For ditching, I just use the 3 pt arms to angle the box as needed. Not...

    Three point top link

Unrelated, but similar. I noticed that day after picking up mine that one of the horizontal grill guard slats was very noticeably bent. I hadn't hit anything or even used the FEL yet. There were no marks or scratches on any of the pristine paint. No stress fractures on the welds or in the...

    New BH77 question

My first impression would be that what you are doing wrong is using your backhoe to dig out stumps when your bio says you have a stump grinder :D Seriously though, that BH77 is definitely strong enough to drag the tractor around if the stump is stubborn enough to not budge.

Help, bucket size on B2650 backhoe

The bigger the bucket the faster you can move soft material. The smaller the bucket, the more force you apply to dig harder dirt. I have dense TN clay and use mine for digging stumps a lot, so I went with the 12" bucket and a ripper from BX expanded. If those rocks are in relatively loose...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

That is by far the cleanest garage I've seen. You're making the rest of us look bad

    Battery Master Switch

A remote activated bomb would be satisfying, but then you'd probably get in trouble for not respecting the thief's rights

    My tractor is currently stuck...

Thanks for the follow up. Glad to hear it started up with no issues. That's good info to know for future reference, but hopefully un-needed info ;)

Put a tree limb through my grill (brand new L2501)

Go to the fab section here and search 'grill guard'. Tons of posts and pics to get ideas from. If you get something made, post up pics.

    My tractor is currently stuck...

Totally agree, his needs to get pulled out. That's why I said 'mine on my land'. I have turfs which when low on pressure act like trials tires if you are familiar with those. My backhoe is almost always on and I'd rig up extenders for the bucket (think downward forks). Of course it would...

    My tractor is currently stuck...

Since it's on a job site, your plan sounds solid. On the other hand, if it were mine on my own property, it'd be "game on, challenge accepted". I'd drop the pressure in the tires to near nothing, use the backhoe and bucket for leverage, 4x4 and locking the diff. Once I got it out, I'd back...

How to deal with Wasps and Hornets

Re: How to deal with bees I have use foaming engine degreaser for when they are in flight. It's hard to hit them directly with brake cleaner, but the degreaser is a broad spray and when it hits them it foams, they can't fly with foam and drop to the ground where my footwear does the rest. If...

Yet another B2601 vs B2650 thread

Personally, I prefer analog gauges for motocycles, cars, boats, but on a tractor the digital isn't really a con for me. I set rpm by sound and feel mostly and only really pay attention to the hour meter. For pto it's easy enough to set proper rpm and go. The digital display is easy to read...

Can I do my own 1st service

My dealer said they should not be mixed at all  and I just took it at face value. Guess I should have researched it myself first. That's what I like about OTT, lots of folks to learn from.
