What color attachment would you chose

This is my thinking as well, as long as you store it under cover in the non-snow months. If it's getting stored exposed to the sun, the orange would absorb heat less in the summer months. Personally, I'd get the black and store indoors.

First time loaded on my trailer

You may want to take off the 3pt links. They will need to be off to mount the BH and you don't want to end up leaving them at the dealer.

    Found some pic's

I'm just the opposite. The hotter it gets the more things hurt. In the winter I can 'ice down' all my joints at once just by hanging outside in shorts and a t-shirt. Pretty sure my radiator is clogged because if its above 90 I'm inside worshiping the A/C.

    Kubota B2601 Seat Upgrades?

If it's like the 2650, when you add the swivel mechanism, you loose the suspension function. It also tilts the seat forward a bit which I didn't like. I opted to keep the comfy seat as is and bought a separate backhoe seat.

    Basic Tractor Data Chart

Thank you for that. It helped a lot when I was deciding on which model to buy.

    overwhelmed by choices, please help

That was my exact question when I was looking to purchase. It boils down to physics. If you are plowing, say at 2 mph, and the plow hits a stump/rock/whatever, how much force is exerted through the plow onto the object? The heavier tractor has more rolling mass (momentum) and will exert more...

    overwhelmed by choices, please help

Most of the pines I've removed were around 20-25" diameter, 90-100 ft tall. My B2650 has essentially the same lift capacity as the 2501, so to answer your question, yes the 2501 is enough tractor. The BH77 has been able to dig up all the stumps as well. It took longer than an excavator would...

    Analysis Paralysis L2501/LX2610SU…….B2601

I disagree about the weight. I went with the 2650 because it can lift and carry just as much as the l2501, actually rated for a few lbs more, without lugging around all that extra weight. A heavier tractor is much better at ground engagement work (plowing, subsoiling, etc) but being heavy does...

    Broke the 3pt backhoe

That's how I'd play it, good luck ;)

    Cab cupholder suggestions?

I keep the phone in cup holder, but only to feed music to my noise reducing earphones. I wouldn't even think about answering a call during tractor time. I don't use the cup holder at all for beverages because it shakes up and foams my beer, not acceptable. I just re hydrate each time I pass...

Land Pride Vs Artillian pallet forks

I opted for the EA forks. they are rated at 2,000 lbs which is higher than loader can handle, and were the lightest set up I could find. The lighter the forks, the more you can lift. EA makes great quality stuff, american made in NC, and free delivery to most places. Worth looking at.

    Adding rock/gravel help

Just use your bucket to back drag the gravel into the low spots and level, then use the plane to make it pretty. I wouldn't buy a box just for that since you already own the plane.

    B2650 wheel spacers

Thanks, I'll contact Richard. I don't have a mmm and don't really want more than the 2" spacers. I found it weird that they didn't list the 2650 but I'm sure Richard can get what I need. Thanks again.

    Loader lift capacity

Double the loader model # and that's about how many lbs it can manage. So if your rocks are 1,068 lbs or less the LA534 can work them. If your rocks are over 1,610 lbs, the bigger LA805 is still not enough. Sometimes it's hard to weigh a rock so you'll have to guess. Of course, there's...

    B2650 wheel spacers

I tried searching, but with the new format I only got one find and it didn't answer my question. I've read that a lot of folks like the Bro-tek wheel spacers. I went searching for them and their site doesn't have the B2650 on their list of models. Does anyone here use them on their 2650 and...

It's a round glass dish for holding things of course ;)

    Running Long Distances

I wouldn't mind driving it to the dealer, but I'm not so sure I'd like driving it back home with a grapple hung out front. Depends on the size of grapple and visibility over/around it.

    Tractor shopping in Georgia

I went back and read your original posting. From what I gathered you're not needing to do heavy ground work (plowing, sub soiling, heavy disc work, etc). You are needing good FEL capacity (clearing brush with a toothed bucket, grapple use, etc) and working in the wooded part. The way I see...

Why run high rpm's with a diesel ?

I just throttle according to what I'm doing. If it bogs a bit I crank it up a bit. Really doesn't matter since this diesel will be running long after I get relegated to the scrap heap.
