    Hydro Trans Control Question

I love everything about my new Cabota except one thing: The treadle control for the trans. It's just clumsy for me and I really, REALLY prefer the two pedal version on my little JD lawn tractor. Neither approach to reverse is really comfortable: Sticking a toe under the forward part and...

Implement/Attachment you wish you had sooner

Hydro trans and live PTO! Ran a JD750 with neither for 28 years, never knew what I was missing. Can't say as to attachments, everything I have is perfect for what it does. Am thinking about a grapple, but I'll likely go with the Brush Crusher as it doesn't require a lot of expensive extra...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Went out last night after dark and took the snowblower to that little dab of snow we got yesterday. Waited until after dark both for the snow to end and to try my LED floods on the back of the cab. Giggled like a 10 year old girl at a pajama party the whole time, sitting there in my nice...

Finally! Got to play in the snow with my new rig.

We will have been married for 41 years this Thursday. She knows from extensive (and expensive...) experience that the only difference between men and boys is the price of their toys!

Finally! Got to play in the snow with my new rig.

2015 B2650 and a Pronovost Puma 64" blower. Block heater is plugged into a wireless switched outlet that I can activate from the house 100-ish yards away. Get up, decide I need to blow snow, hit the switch and have breakfast and a coupla cups of coffee. :) The second picture shows the boat...

Mods to Land Pride FSP500 - for sanding

If you don't mind my asking, what did you have to give for the vibrator? I'm brainstorming an application where something like that would be just the ticket.

    Dogs In First Snow

When I was stationed in Japan, we had a Sheltie that LOVED snow. This was in Misawa, way north on the main island, directly east of the border between North Korea and Russia (which is why we were there...) SERIOUS winters there. We would open the back door and Candy would get a running start...

So show us a picture of your L1500Dt or any other Kubota beside a Bx ready fo another

Re: So show us a picture of your L1500Dt or any other Kubota beside a Bx ready fo... Snow? What snow? It's 50° out there this morning. Plus I spent the kid's inheritance on a cabbed tractor with heat, it won't snow for years! ;) Actually, I probably should get off my lazy butt and dig the...

Anyone have experience with "Heater Cabs"

I have no doubt you can build your own cab for the prices you quoted, nor do I doubt that it's just as warm. We'll have to agree to disagree on reproducing a factory cab for that kind of money tho. I WILL agree that it's a major cash cow for them, but I don't have the skills or the ambition to...

Anyone have experience with "Heater Cabs"

I choked pretty hard on the additional cost of a cab when I bought my B2650, and wondered if I'd finally lost what was left of my mind. Having lived with it for 7+ months now, I'm VERY glad I stuck a crowbar in my wallet and sprung for the cab. Yup, they're spendy, but I guaran-damn-tee they...

Anyone have experience with "Heater Cabs"

It is way, WAY better than an unprotected open station. I had one for my JD750. The amount of heat coming back from the engine was certainly noticeable and added to the wind protection it provided made working in all but the nastiest conditions almost comfortable.

    Can't Stand the Wait.

Mine finally arrived and was assembled and ready to go on a Friday. I drove up to the dealer (60-ish miles) and made the down payment and signed all the paperwork and inquired as to when it might be delivered. "We're pretty backed up. Wednesday maybe, more likely Thursday." Uh, nope, I've...
