Price Check Landpride FDR2572 Finish Mower

Did a search, didn't see any threads less than 4 years old. Anybody bought a Landpride FDR2572 or something close to it lately? I'm considering it, but need to know what to expect price-wise. Thanks.

    Bought a new toy...

I started riding in 1966 on a Honda 90. Been riding on-and-off ever since. Did take an extended break starting around 1984 due to finances and family, didn't ride again until after I retired from the Navy in 1990. My preference (and financial capacity) is for bikes from the "sweet spot" of my...

    Dealer Kudos

If you live in or near Central or Eastern Maine and are in the market for ANYTHING by Kubota, you can't do better than Dorr's Equipment in Bangor, Maine. I bought a cabbed B2650 from them a year ago this April. This Spring, I noticed that the A/C wasn't working. I spoke to the Service...

    B2650 Service Manual...

Absolutely. At today's shop rates, if it saves you an hour or two of shop time it's paid for itself. I'm a pretty fair shade-tree mechanic. I already do all the routine maintenance, and once the tractor is out of warranty, I'll be doing any repairs I can handle as well.

    B2650 Service Manual...

Available from your dealer, I ordered one when I ordered the tractor. I don't want to get into copyright issues so I won't copy it, but what do you need to know?

    A Neglected Machine...

Good on ya. Never ceases to amaze me how people will spend thousands of dollars on equipment and then beat the crap out of it and park it under a tree.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Doing some driveway/parking improvements for the local B&B. Couple of days ago I tore up and regraded 1/2 of the drive and spread 12 yards of screened gravel on the other half. Today I added a section to the guest parking area and made 12 yards of screened gravel disappear into the hole where...

    SSQA Manure Fork/Bucket

Excellent! Thank you for the pictures. I'm pretty sure I have enough material in my scra....uh..."excess materials" pile to make that.

    SSQA Manure Fork/Bucket

Sounds like a good idea, I'll be looking forward to pictures.

    SSQA Manure Fork/Bucket

Toying with the idea of getting a bucket with manure tines on it for handling/turning compost. It would be used on the LA534 loader on my B2650 Something like the Woods MF6000 (60") looks ideal but NOBODY posts prices on this stuff and I'm just ornery enough that I won't jump through the...

    Load bearing wall??

I AM NOT AN ARCHITECT OR AN ENGINEER...so take this with a large grain of salt. The wall above the breakfast counter is no problem, it's pretty obviously non load bearing. The full height wall to the left is probably not load bearing as trusses are designed to span the outer walls and give...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Put some hours on that puppy the last couple of days! Friday I had the box blade on and ripped and re-graded 500' or so of driveway and then spread 12 yards of screened gravel on another 100' that was too far gone to work with. Today I put the trusty old Howard HR-6 Rotavator on (which I just...

    New B2650 W/Cab delivered today

The Cabota is my first cabbed tractor. I have MANY hours on open station tractors, dating from the 60's on. My previous tractor was a John Deere 750, lots and lots of hours bush hogging and finish mowing with that. Always wore a pair of muffs and with the hog usually a pair of foam inserts...

    New B2650 W/Cab delivered today

I have the same tractor, good choice! Couple of questions: 1. Why did you take the mirrors off? I can just fold mine in if I need to get closer to something. 2. You say "quiet when running with the doors closed". I'm seriously hearing impaired (beaucoup high frequency loss, really should...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Something a little more productive today, installed 50 pieces of manufactured concrete edging blocks as part of a terracing project in the back yard. Love, love, LOVE the SSQA!!! Switched back and forth between the forks and the bucket several times, lugging edging blocks with the forks and...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Took eight (yes, 8) bucket loads of sand out of my front yard where the town was kind enough to plow it all winter. Motrin for supper...

What About Your Tractor Makes You Swear?

The cab. Don't get me wrong, I love it and would never go back to open station, but there are two things that aggravate the crap out of me: 1. Adjusting the 3PH height while hooking up implements. Reaching through the rear cab window to get at the lever is a pain in the sitter. 2. I have...

    Then the Neighbors Came Over

From a movie. It means do things for people before they ask and without expecting to be repaid. The idea is that they will do the same for someone else at some point.

How do I know if my L2350DT has power steering?

Tractor Data site lists it with PS. It usually runs off the main hydraulics so no belt-driven external pump. Should be a hydraulic cylinder behind the front axle, between the front tires near the tie rod. Also look for hoses somewhere around the front axle.

    Other toys

A toy if I'm honest about it, not much use for a drawbar-only tractor with no hydraulics. 1938 Farmall F-14. I try not to think about how much money I have tied up in a tractor that might sell for $1500 if I found the right sucker. Mostly a toy, but useful for some things. Pasquali 986...
