Done with R4 Tires in the SNOW!!!

I'm using the R3's and so far quite impressed with how they have handled snow and ice. When I purchased tractor was thinking of going to R4's for winter and was told I would have to replace the rims as well due to the width.

    m4950 injector

Brother in law has a new to him very used M4950. He recently developed a noticeable almost ticking sound. It ended up being a bad seal on the far left injector. Have the gasket and injector is cleaned up for re install. Does anyone know the torque spec for tightening the injector? Thanks.

    excess fuel additive

This forum has been good at answering many of my Kubota questions and again asking for help. I sold my old bolens H1502 to a buddy and replaced it with a b2601. This is a question about adding too much conditioner to the diesel. Got a call today that he couldn't get the bolens started. I went...

    B2747 & B2798 Mid PTO Driveline Difference

Have a B2601 and had the same questions as you. When it finally happened I purchased a new BX2755HD with the recommended drive line kit. Expensive yes. Worth every penny compared to turning around with a rear mount blower, did that for 20 years. I found a few different quick hitches and looked...

    2017 B2601- snow chains

Curious as to why your using chains. Running turfs on the same tractor and so far its been great in the snow. Only thing I did was fill the rears. Was all set to either do chains or switch to R4's but everyone said give them a try.

    B2150 wont stay running

Did you add fuel stabilizer to your diesel? If not it may be gelling due to the cold.

    2017 B2601- snow chains

Re: UPDATE: 2017 B2601- snow chains With my old Bolens tractor I put rubber straps wrapped cross ways to take up any slack in the chains. Did your chains come with anything to tighten them? Something like this. https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/813TqcG3L1L._SL1171_.jpg

    snowblower chute

Going to check out UHMW sheet that is 1/8" thick. Only plan to line the back edge of the chute. Doing my research now and make it a summer mod.

    snowblower chute

First winter with a front mount blower and as I've done before didn't adjust the skis up high enough. Grab a little too much gravel from the driveway and now the chute is blasted clean, as in no paint left. Not a big deal. When I put it away for the season I'll pressure wash and repaint any...

    Exhaust = Headache?

Be very careful with running your tractor inside a shelter. CO poisoning is very easy to do. If you don't have enough ventilation either don't run it or you could get a piece of tubing to redirect the fumes outside the shelter. Stay safe.

    electric actuator

I've been blowing snow for 20+ years with a 3 point blower. Never bothered to change chute angle and always got the job done. Now using a front mount blower due to neck issues. Yes they are more expensive but wow what a difference in blowing snow. So I read a lot of posts about adding a linear...

    Snowblower chute angling problems

I think those are the cross over relief valve limiters. I have a bx2755hd and I'm almost positive your blower has the same setup.

    B2601 LED Headlights

This was one of the first upgrades I did on my b2601. I also added led floods attached to the grill guard. Amazing light while snow blowing from both.

    B2601 LED Headlights

The bulbs as stated have an 1156 base. Any led with that base will work. I picked up a package of 20 on ebay. Only issue you may run into is that the led bulbs may require you to swap the wires. The led bulbs are polarity sensitive.

    Bring it on...winter, that is

I knew the day would come when I had to try out the new tractor with a front blower. I almost felt sad that I might get some scratches. Not. The first thing I noticed is that it's so much easier to navigate then going backwards. This is the first time in twenty years that I'm seeing where I'm...

    B2320 low power after service

You mentioned adding fuel treatment. Was there any in the diesel before this. Maybe due to temperature your diesel was starting to gel.

    Bring it on...winter, that is

Have my new tractor with a front blower and in no hurry to try it out. After blowing snow for thirty years it's not a thing to get excited about. So far only a couple of dusting of snow in Ottawa and perfectly happy with that.

    Parts (hoses) Kubota or generic

Re: Parts (hoses) Kabota or generic I don't think you will find them at a parts store but you must have a place locally that can fabricate hydraulic lines? Take the lines off and have them replicated.
