Ok. Good news as I thought I maybe had an issue with no magnet. Sad day today took the fel off so I can install the front blower. Going to miss that beast. Come on spring time.
Did the 50 hr service today and was looking at the hydro filters. Both the new and old filters have no magnet. Is this the norm? I thought all the original tractor painted filters had a magnet on the hydro filter.
Not a problem. I belong to a few sites and this one is probably the best for getting replies. It's frustrating when your having an issue and can't get an answer.
I don't have the same setup as you but I did confirm that what you should have is correct. I suspect you have the wrong half shaft for the blower pto. I just put a bx2755hd on my b2601 and the front half shaft needed to be replaced. The proper one was considerably longer then the one supplied...
You can pick up a shaft at any tractor supplier. All you need is the length and the spline count. Best price I found for a replacement pto shaft for my rear finish mower was the local new Holland dealer. TSC has some but I found them over priced.
Looked at the wiring diagram and was considering adding a toggle switch to the hst safety circuit. If the circuit is open then no power can reach the starter solenoid. I know it won't stop everyone but maybe one. Also adding tractor to my house insurance. Any thoughts?
Had my tires filled and trust me there not that bad to handle. Even if you lay them down one person can handle it. As mentioned loosen nuts, jack until just off the ground and wiggle tire off. Can I ask why your adding spacers?
Update: to all who responded, Thank You. The issue was as suggested. I was not moving the control over far enough to the right. Chute works as designed.
Update. I needed to do some work with the loader so I reinstalled it and it works just as it should. I'll try it again because this doesn't make since. When it was hooked up it would swing left but not right. Sounds like what is being described, first time user so probably operator error.
B2601 and BX2755HD problem solved
Have my new blower hooked up and having an issue with hose connections. Currently have the up and down for the blower hooked up to the white and yellow ports. Works perfectly. Therefore the chute rotator has to be hooked up to blue and red. Chute only rotates...
Was checking tractor yesterday and seems I tore one of the inner boots. Does anyone know of where to get a replacement boot only. Looks like Kubota only sells them with the inner tie rod.
Why cheap out on filling tires when there is a product designed for tires. Just had my rears filled on a B2601 and it was $150.00 taxes in. The stuff around here is from Protek and is corn based. Also has a higher weight per pound then all the other products.
Purchased a new snow blower and sub frame for the b2601. Assembled everything as per the instructions and for the sub frame the instructions were excellent. Except for maybe the pivot bolt. The instructions say to torque the two bolts to 440 ft lbs. Really? Who has a torque wrench that goes to...
