I kept looking at the filter and hoses on my L2501 and decided to make a guard before a stick got in there. Last year I had one grab the hose on the right backhoe stabilizer and rip that off.
I use a piece of steel from a steel frame building that is 10" wide and a 4" flange up and down 16" long. I think it is about 12 gauge steel. Not an perfect match but some gray rustoleum
I fastened one end to one of the existing sub frame bolts and drilled a 3/8 hole in the other end. Another piece goes from the 2 fender bolts that I used. Last is a 5" muffler clamp to the loader mount.
I think it will give me a little protection.
