B26 - About to purchase - Updates coming?

Check carefully on the M62 for haying equipment. It isnt an ag tractor, but there are a few that use them on farms (check on TBN). I am curious how they hold up to pulling and running haying equipment. While HSTs care capable, I dont know if HST in this HP range is.

    Auction tractor

Additionally, be very careful. There are craigslist scams aplenty and I have heard of nightmare Auction sales (selling stolen equipment). They may be just fine, but do your homework then double check it.

    3 point backhoe

I suppose if you always dig in soft soil, never hot rocks or roots a 3PT might be ok. Backhoes are very heavy and put a great deal of strain on the machine, even when used properly. I cant imagine that stress going into my 3PT link arms and hydraulic system. It is just a bad idea all around...

    Greens Machine Grapple Thumb

With a rock grapple you can get under rocks or pluck them. Also visibility is much better than a bucket. Anyway best of luck....it sounds like an interesting contraption!

Before you throw it out, get parts numbers and search the internet/ebay.

    Greens Machine Grapple Thumb

Has anyone used one of these grapples with Pallet Forks? Is the guard on the forks going to properly support one of these thumbs? It sounds like you arent interested in a thumb on your bucket because you cant get under rocks. Why not just get a rock grapple? You can find them for around $1k...

    Bucket Mirror?

You could also use a dash cam of sorts, but it would require running wires.

B26 - About to purchase - Updates coming?

I should also mention I almost bought a B26, so I did a ton of research and demoing of the machine. It is a real workhorse, no frills machine. It lacks the HST+ transmission and the creeper controls that the L47/M62 have. There is a so a flow bypass that you can enable on the bigger brothers...

    Direction change HST

I almost never use mine. I use the emergency brake way more than the pedal brake.

B26 - About to purchase - Updates coming?

Kubota already made their 2019 announcements last year...so there is nothing now. If you want it, get it.

    Quick hitch mountable quick attach

Why not just leave the bucket outside? Will the bucket protrude past the wheels on the rear and create a hazard you might hit with something if you arent careful? Seems you are going to pay more for the QA attachment than the bucket itself. Also, on a 3 PT you cant curl so it isnt going to...

VIDEO: Fall 2018 Cleanup with a Kubota BX23s

Yes you may want to hang a sign off of the door that says "ROPS!" :D Thanks for sharing!

BX23S and FEL for pushing snow

For your size machine the Edge Tamers seem like a good option for a bucket plow. You will still leave about an inch of snow under it...so if you want something that gets closer you will need a plow blade or a poly edge on your bucket.

New member of with old questions just got his tractor.

Looks like a capable machine, congrats! I have the larger cousin, it is a real workhorse. I am sure you will get many years of use! Be careful putting any of the B series implements on the L (rake, blade), it will tear them up before you know it.

    New L 3301 problem

That is what I was thinking. Running idle for 4 hours would probably build up a decent amount of soot.

I like the landscape rake route as well. Lots of other uses.

Got my CID Root Gappler today

Are you sure “adding fluid” didnt mean to rear tires for ballast? If you dont have your rear tires filled and dont care about the weight tearing up anything then you may want to consider filling the rear tires. A 500lb grapple is 1/2 of your lift capacity on that machine. That seems like a...
