    Gun laws 101?

Sure, we have all those, or at least most of those. I know people that do turkey shoots, rim fire shoots, etc. I've done trap shooting. Just have to follow the rules when transporting your weapon and ammo, and have your possession permit with you. Very few of those events would be with hand guns...

    Gun laws 101?

In Canada, it is fairly simple. Hunting rifles are fine, no major restrictions other that the magazine limits (usually 5 shells or less). Idea is, if a hunter can't hit that deer after 5 shots, not much of a hunter... Shotguns similar, hunting guns. Rules are they are to have trigger locks and...

    Health Care

Doctor put the wife on statins a couple years ago, she had major muscle aches, tired all the time, etc. Doctor tried another, same effect. When doctor wanted to try a third (injected) statin related drug, we switched doctors. No statins, wife feels fine...

    Health Care

Statins are one of the greatest bluffs in medical history. The science behind it was flawed in the first place. It is rumored that Pfizer makes 30 BILLION (or is it 3 billion - does not matter...) a year on statins. Why would they ever give up promoting it? There is a French documentary worth...

    Ear Candy...

I was at a concert in university ("college" to our USA friends) in 1971, and the main act was Sha Na Na. The lead in act was a relatively unknown musician called Don McLean, who had just released a new song. He made all of us at the concert sing the main chorus every time (Bye bye miss American...

    Ear Candy...

Tractor tunes? I always see myself driving down the road to my neighbors, blowing snow with the front blower off the street at maximum RPM, to help them out after doing my driveway. Then listening to this tune cruising down the road at 8mph... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5UWRypqz5-o

    Driving tractor long distance

Also check your highway "rules" (laws). Here in Ontario, it is perfectly legal to drive on roads, even without a license, provided it has the slow moving vehicle sign on the back of the tractor. But yes, check the home insurance for sure. My insurance was ok with driving to the neighbor on the...

    Kmanbota’s Build Thread

Be very, very careful with open Styrofoam. the slightest spark/flame and it can ignite easily. When it burns, it produces tons of toxic smoke. Unless it is some flame resistant version, best to cover it with something.... Just a suggestion...

    Best thing I ever did

Mmmm... Bambi Burgers... I don't get too many of those anymore (not hunting any longer). As for enclosed porch, I built a fully enclosed porch area with polycarbonate roof (so the sun can shine in), and full crank open windows (with screens). My prime use is in the spring, when those nasty black...

how to wire linear actuator and 3 wire switch

Wiring diagram is correct, but be sure to include a fuse on the supply (battery) side to the switch. All you need is some short in your wiring, and everything goes up in smoke without that fuse.

    Snowblower Spur gear grease-help

A lot of grease products will freeze at low temperatures. Usually around -10C to -20C. Not on my tractor, but I have a TV type of antenna rotor that I cleaned out all the grease and replaced it with grease formulated for snow machines. Obviously that is a low-temp grease. Considering this is for...

Right end of snowblower leans down

On my BX, with front 50" blower, I find the blower will lean one way or the other depending on the angle of the tractor as much as the ground level. My driveway is very uneven and I have to watch the bottom of the skids on both sides, to make sure I'm not digging into the gravel, especially...

    Landpride snow blower shear pins?

The shear bolt on the auger drive chain seems to be a standard Gr5 bolt, 1/4-20 by 1" long (part 11) with a Nylock nut (part 23). The main drive shaft seems to have a metric bolt/nut: M8x50 and the grade seems to be 6.6 (C1.6.6), which is an odd grade. Grade 8.8 is close to Gr5. Metric grade...

    electric chute

The other 3 wires are for sensing where the actuator is actually positioned (feedback). You do not need those in this application. All you need is a momentary (or center off) DPDT toggle switch for the main motor leads. Those extra 3 wires are +5V to feed the sensor, GND of course, and a...

    BX2370 Snowblower

If its a standard "quick hitch", the same as a BX25, then you can probably use the BX2750D blower. It comes standard with a manual chute turner, the hydraulic turner is an option...

    Snowblower Dryer and Polebarn Heater?

I use a shed for heating when I need to work on the tractor (tractor normally in regular garage). I use two 2kW heaters with fans, on opposing walls, with a regular electrical thermostat. These are cheap local hardware store type of heaters. What I did was install a remote contactor (relay) that...

Help needed identifying parts to put a blower on my BX24

Check the parts finder on the Kubota web site. Parts/manual may vary by the serial number of the blower. I assume this is a BX2750D blower model? (not the HD model) 1) There are two parts for the quick hitch drive shaft, a male portion that is part of the quick hitch, and the female driveshaft...
