    Ukraine

I read an article a couple of days ago that I can't find now. It asserts that Russia is a key supplier of fertilizer. For those who grow crops for a living, what are the prospects for getting the crops out this year and next? Planting season is a few weeks out here.

What do you ride, and whats the last thing you did to it?

I had a 1975 Yamaha 125 enduro back in the day. It had plenty of hill climbing power and a heavy front end. Blew the doors off of Honda and Suzuki 125 enduros.

What do you ride, and whats the last thing you did to it?

2006 Suzuki DRZ400S bought new in 2008. Pretty reliable machine. Added a front sprocket with one extra tooth to get highway RPMs down. Changed lower suspension links to lower the ride by 1.5". It has an aftermarket luggage rack. I cleaned and oiled the chain the other day and rode it a couple of...

    Angle of the dangle

Tractor will tilt over 20° right or left without tipping over. Keep the implements low. Bigger concerns are that wheels might slip toward downhill when moving sideways along a slope or an obstacle like a stump is suddenly hit.

    Gas prices

$3.39 for 87 octane, probably with ethanol yesterday. Spent about $7.00 to fill up the motorcycle.

Thinking of trading my L3901 gear drive tractor. Advice?

Selling it yourself would likely get a better price. Would a L2501 HST meet your needs?

    Three sisters planting

It works pretty well as long as a strong wind doesn't blow the weighted corn stalks down.

    Gas prices

It's interesting that non ethanol is cheaper than with ethanol.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I pulled some gravel off the sides of the driveway to the center and smoothed it all out. I only used the FEL.

    The Olympics

I will not watch the games this year. I will not be responsible for supporting a totalitarian government and the media that covers it.

    BX23S Cab NO HEAT!!

Sounds like you got the air out of the circuit. Coolant through the bypass hose & core should be a little warmer than the rad inlet. + What diameter heater hose are you running? + Check that the heater hose routing is smooth, no severe bends or kinks. + Not sure of how the heater is built, but...

    BX23S Cab NO HEAT!!

Good point. Ford diesel trucks limit airflow by modulating the intake air valve. At the same time, they run the turbo to increase the air intake temperature. I've seen Cummins truck engines do the same thing.

B2710 with curis cab heat its cold outside

If the heater circuit is in parallel with the radiator (not including thermostat), you will get no heat until thermostat opens and low heat (low core flow) after it opens. Tapping off the engine bypass line is the better option. Don't use a coolant shutoff valve in the bypass line; would be bad...

    BX23S Cab NO HEAT!!

Depending on location of the heater core, there could be a large air bubble in the heater circuit. Saw that happen in the auto industry when rear seat heater cores were located at elevation above radiator. That circuit was difficult to fill other than the factory. May need to tee in a small dia...
