Looks like the Canucks are pushing back

Seems that Trudeau conveniently was exposed to COVID to avoid having to address the convoys. He is in isolation now although being triple vax-ed. https://citizenfreepress.com/breaking/triple-vaccinated-trudeau-in-quarantine/

    New to Tractor Operating

Be careful dragging logs uphill. I was dragging a large stump uphill and part of the trail was not directly uphill. The stump shifted and I could feel the tractor start to shift as well. My new rule is to not drag heavy loads sideways on a hill.

    School Bus with Detroit engine

Unless the diesel engine has some kind of warm up feature, that would be about as good as it gets for a 4 cylinder in that ambient. Typical warmup features include restricting airflow and/or spinning up the turbo to get hotter intake air. If not, might want to check out a fuel fired heater...

    My Kubota App

I tried it for a while. Looked like it was not ready for prime time. I could see no benefit to having it.

    Tractor Mike - Skills lost

My kid worked at a small engine repair shop in Detroit. At the beginning of lawn mowing and snow blowing seasons, the yard would pile up with equipment for repair. A good many had bad gas and some had no gas in the tank. He would typically clean out the carbs, put some clean gas in, replace...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

We are having a bit of snow now, not enough to cover the grass. The light snow sets off the trail I bushhogged across creek on hillside a couple of months ago. Normally, you can't see it from the house, but the snow shows the outline now.

    Mice

There are lots of field mice in the area. Also, the new yard was filled with moles. We acquired a couple of kittens and made them a warm place in the barn. We feed them regularly. They hunt mice and moles for recreation. They will bring in 2-3 every day. There were a couple of mice that made it...

    Cab heaters preferably 12V ?

I also like the option of pre-heating the coolant. This should reduce the regen frequency.

Why no seat belt interlock on tractors?

The purpose of seatbelts in automobiles is to prevent occupants from being ejected or slamming into the steering wheel during a crash. Airbags are designed to limit front seat occupant injuries or death if they are not wearing seatbelts. My guess is that seatbelts on tractors prevent the...
