    5' or 6' grader blade?

Either of these in an 84" width would be about the perfect blade for your tractor. Might want to consider skid shoes also, they make a huge difference. http://www.landpride.com/products/567/rb37-series-rear-blades http://www.everythingattachments.com/Tractor-Rear-Scrape-Blades-p/eta-xd-sblade.htm

Rear blade, how big is too big?

The problem with a 72" rear blade is there are times when it works best to have the blade at a 45* angle. A 72" blade at a 45* angle does not cover the tracks of the tractor where as an 84" blade does. Pin or hydraulic offset is the only way to go. Bolt and slide offset, better than not...

Please help total rookie on MX5200

When you say filling the tires gives you a less comfortable ride, fill them with what, foam? I have my tires 75% filled (covering the rim) on both my 75hp and 32hp tractors. I have found that the ride is FAR superior than with just air, besides making them far better dirt working...

Rear blade, how big is too big?

If you want to get some work done forget about those 2 models. At under 400lbs, the RB2684 is simply not heavy enough and the offset is a joke. Unbolt and slide the blade sideways up to 12". Get an RB3784. Much better blade and it actually will work for you instead of just bouncing along...

B2920 Hydraulic connectors leak looking for best replacement

Last resort, the internet. Wait, maybe that should be the first resort?

    L3901 vs L4701 for 3k difference

The L4701 is quite a bit more tractor than the L3901. At about 500lbs heavier, all of it's ratings are bumped up about 500lbs also, that includes the loader which should be the LA765, not the LA525. Has std features that are options for the L3901. I am not a Kubota guy, just looking at the...

B2920 Hydraulic connectors leak looking for best replacement

Looks like the size has been given, I usually just pull one out and check it for size before I get any replacements.

B2920 Hydraulic connectors leak looking for best replacement

What about just changing the O-ring in the female couplers? Use a good quality O-ring and all should be good. The OEM stuff is probably at the lower end of the scale. The shipping will cost you more than what the O-rings cost. I'm sure that your total cost would be under $10 for all of your...

My New MX5800 was delivered yesterday

3rd party for the 3rd function kit. Should run around $1000 installed. Don't go the rear remote route, that would run about $350 installed (properly) and uses a rear remote that would normally be used for something on the back end.

Can't get hydraulic line to stay in rear outlet

I agree that you would think that the fittings would be all the same, at least in each size category, they are not, there are several types that at a glance look the same, but in reality are different and will not interchange (connect) properly. I typically provide 1/2" ISO 5675 compatible...

Can't get hydraulic line to stay in rear outlet

When you push the male end in, does it just pull-fall back out? It should lock in and stay in. It almost sounds like you might have the wrong male ends. :( Are you using the male ends that Kubota supplied?

Thinking of trading/selling my L3800 for LS XR4046 with a Cab.

My thought would be that he can get a cab model LS for what an open station Grand L is going to cost him and some of the extras that he is wanting are std features on the LS. He may find that it would be "easier" to just trade his L3800 in at the Kubota dealer and get a Grand L though.

    Here's a stupid question

Both units can be extremely beneficial with just about any type of grading implement. All depends on what it is that you are trying to get done and the conditions that you are working with. While a box blade almost requires a hydraulic top link to be able to get anything done so that there is...

    Hydraulic Remote For Dummies

It will come as a single valve that has 2 remote outlets. Everything today is set up for a double acting cylinder. Get the valve that has the float function with it. That will make things easier to operate for your single acting hydraulics that you have.

    Hydraulic Remote For Dummies

Here is a picture of a single valve that operates 4 separate sets of rear remote outlets. To do this 3 electric diverters are used. This can be done with a single diverter to get a person 2 sets and as many diverters as required to get as many separate sets of outlets required. The most that I...

    Hydraulic Remote For Dummies

Correct. While technically yes it will work, but depending on the type of valve as to how. For a std (most common) 3 position valve, (pressure, neutral, pressure) the only way to let the cylinder collapse without dead heading the hydraulic system is to turn the engine off. If you have a valve...

    First timer here, Kubota questions.

Sounds like you have some serious dirt work to do. I would forget about the L series (just to small and light weight compared to the M models) and go with an M series. Same goes for John Deere, in the 5000 series, forget about the e models and just look at the M models. It's not that the...

    L3301 or L3901?

I'm not sure on the newer models, but there use to be something different with the PTO and I'm thinking that there was something else also, just don't remember. What I do remember is that it was beneficial to go with the higher HP unit and not just for the higher HP. Good luck with your...
