I suggest that you go over here and do some reading. I think that you will find that you do not really need something big and built for a skid steer. Assuming that you want the rear blade for your L3800? I would really be looking at an 84" wide blade. Your tractor will handle that and you want your tractor width to be covered when the blade is angled over at 45*. You can get by with a 6 footer, but much happier with the 7'. Next question is...

The different holes change how high the implement will be lifted when raised up, it all has to do with geometry. On some tractors that have draft control controlled by the top link, the holes are used to change the sensitivity of the draft. ;)
