options and attachments for a new grand L

if you were going to buy a grand L with FEL what attachments or tractor options would you get and why.....list priority of items if you would please. probably getting one ordered in the next week or two and want to ensure I have all of my ducks in a row. I need to be able to pick up hay bales on the FEL, do some dirt work, make some ditches, dig some post holes, and thinking I want a tiller, a compaction roller, and a spreader and sprayer to improve pasture.

4-1 bucket (leaning towards getting this or the HD as a cheaper option.)
bale spear (gotta have it)
pallet forks (gotta have it and moving heavy implements it will be important)
TopNTilt (want it, hear it's a huge improvement especially grading and ditching)
remotes, which ones to get and why?
3rd function FEL valve (will get because of skid steer style post hole digger as I like the capabilities better than the 3 point, plus grapple/4in 1 capabilities)
radio kit (is it prewired or have speakers without this kit?)
rear lights (can't believe I would do night work, but could kick myself....should I just get some good LED lights as they are way better lighting?)
air ride seat upgrade? (I'm a big guy, around 285 lbs and 6'3", is the seat more comfortable, highback, armrests etc?)
Rear wiper (really don't see me using this or needing it. but would like thoughts)
swinging drawbar (no idea it's purpose or need)
drawbar clevis (no idea it's purpose or need)

if I get the 4 in 1 does it come with a toothbar? will they even have them, or will I need to fab my own or buy aftermarket?

should I just try to finance the needs and tractor and buy the others as time goes on?

On my list (for my L3940):

Already have/done:
Lights - LED and AWESOME. 8,000 lumens that makes it so I can blow snow any time.
Snowblower - front mount, also awesome.
Back blade - not much to say other than it does what its supposed to. Used mostly for pulling snow away from buildings.

On the list:
1. pallet forks (can't wait)
2. Linear actuator to "automate" front attachment switchovers. There's a thread on tractorbynet that has some info, but it's a home-brew fix. However, it is an option on new models, I guess.
3. Counterweight for loader work (tires are already loaded).
4. LPGS - everything I've read says they're awesome. My driveway is 800' and needs some work.
5. Grapple - also, everyone loves their grapple and I'm ready to be one of those people.

I may have mentioned this before, but my experience this last week reinforces it. By serendipity I ended up listening to a couple of people who said things like "you can do most of what you want with your loader bucket" and did not get an angleable front mounted blade to plow snow that I was sure I wanted. Etc etc. And I could. Glad I don't have that front hydraulic blade, it would have been a PITA to put on and take off since I use the bucket twice a week. I didn't have a lot of first hand experience with what I could do or not do with some of these attachments. On the other hand last week I got a landscape rake, and it is fabulous for cleaning up the horse manure around the barn area and in the pastures, sure beats a pitch fork. A landscape rake wasn't even on my radar when I got the tractor.

So my recommendation would be to purchase the bare minimum that you know you will need immediately, and add other accessories as you go. Deciding on the detailed specs for that laundry list of equipment would be an overwhelming task and take the fun out of it. New toys every few months would be nice!

understood so far. grapple is on the list. don't need a snow blower or snow blade....unless I move back north. who has the best bolt on ripper teeth for the L series.

Really it comes down to budget and priority.

Most folks try to minimize their attachments into multi-use over single purpose ones. Sometimes that means it takes more 'effort' to get the multi-purpose device to do the same job as a single purpose, but the job gets done and they are okay with that.

If you are bleeding money, then it really is a 'what are you doing with the unit' question. Get the right attachment for the right job.

4n1 buckets are nice, that's for sure, plus you will then be set up for the grapple that you will realize you need.

If you are going to be doing much grading, top & tilt is the only way to go.

Get all 3 sets available and get at least 2 of them with the float function to be used with the top & tilt set. I would get all 3 with the float function if it were me. Better to have it and not need it that to need it and not have it.

Hard to beat a box blade for versatility, but I would not be without a LPGS if ANY road maintenance will be required.

Kubota attachments are Land Pride, just painted Kubota orange.

Your choice, most people find that the best deal to be had is to get everything all at once. That is assuming all new purchases.
