    What's best for grading driveway

What are the actual conditions and what tractor and size? These 3 conditions themselves can make a HUGE difference with your statement. Best thing to do, have multiple implements. Each implement excels at what it was designed to do, after that it becomes what else can be done with a particular...

    What's best for grading driveway

120 acres and a weekender at best, when I get a chance. When I need to do something, I need to get it done now, not in 2-3 days or weeks. ;)

    What's best for grading driveway

A HUGE asset to any rear blade is skid shoes. They really help out. If the rear blades that you consider don't offer them, then find one that does, or figure on building some yourself. The heavier the blade, the better it will work for you. That goes for just about any grading implement.

    What's best for grading driveway

RoadMaster, been out of business for years. Closest thing now days is a Road Boss, but way over priced in my opinion. GradeMaster seems to be a decent alternative. Besides weighing around 800lbs, it has much longer runners than most of the LPGS built recently, and that goes a long way as...

    What's best for grading driveway

Hands down the single best implement for "maintaining an improved drive". Improved meaning anything that does not require a 4x4 to make it down the drive.;)

    Box blade size

Any chance that your owner's manual might say for sure? I would say that a 60" would be fine, but how heavy of a unit can it actually handle without problems? A heavy 54" unit might be better, but that size is hard to find. Good luck ;)

Kubota B3000HSDCC grapple adn box blade

Land Pride should have a true 3trd function system for your tractor and is available from your Kubota dealer. As far as a box blade, normally recommend either the same width as your loader bucket and up to 6" wider. A 72" box is waaaaay big for your tractor. I would be looking at a 60" box...

    3rd 4th and 5th hyd remotes for L3830 tractor

If at all possible, get one of those valves with the float function. Better to have it and not need it than to need-want it and not have it. Should be about $65 more. For what it's worth, I would go with the OEM stuff, waaaaaaay cleaner and easier in the long run. ;)

Are Landpride implements worth the extra money?

This depends on where your located and just what implement you are looking for. There are some implements that just never seem to show up used any where, so new is the only choice for some. ;)

Are Landpride implements worth the extra money?

Most of the major implement manufacturers have several levels of implements. So as mentioned, because some that you might have seen were either good or bad does not indicate that everything with that brand name is the same. All things that a person needs to be aware of. I happen to have a...

    land levels size

I think that you guys are thinking about a rear blade. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think the OP it asking about a land plane grading scraper (LPGS). If that is what he is asking about, a good 6 footer is all he will be able to handle. ;)

another rookie question re: post hole auger

I might be wrong here, but as far as the OP is concerned (I think) we are talking about a PTO driven auger, not a hydraulic driven auger. So front mount and reversible is probably out of the question.

another rookie question re: post hole auger

Several things, The LP PD25 is a far superior unit compared to the Leinbach. You can still purchase new for $595 So the unit that came up for sale is no deal. As far as the down pressure on the Land Pride, yes you can use your loader hydraulics, but either you need to run a separate return to...

    HYDRAULINK Top Link

It is not solid, the rod moves on it's own some. Air compresses, pretty simple. If you need a fixed setting, it is not for you. Watch the video and you can see the rod moving in and out. Works for some people, not for others, all depends on you and your circumstances and just what it is that...

    Hydraulic top link debate

Either a needle valve or flow restrictors is what you need. Either will take care of your fast movement problem. I have found that it is best to have the restrictors on both ports, but maybe that is just me. Either way if you go with 1 or 2 flow restrictors or the needle valve, be sure that the...

Not enough lift in 3pt to adjust blade well?

Will your blade spin around "off the tractor" now that you have added your additions? As far as not lifting high enough when purchased new, this is a common problem with pretty much most of the rear blades and landscape rakes I think.

Not enough lift in 3pt to adjust blade well?

Yes, those are 5/8" plate cut out and welded in place. It does not affect the OEM mounts which are designed to work for cat 2 & 3 hitches.

Not enough lift in 3pt to adjust blade well?

Very common to have a blade that will not spin 360* when hitched up. But your blade even when not hitched up would not spin 360* when first purchased???

Not enough lift in 3pt to adjust blade well?

When-if this is done, a person needs to be sure that the blade will still turn 360*. This can vary from implement to implement, they are not all the same. ;) With how these blades have to be built to be able to do what they do, there just is not a lot of height left for the hitch to raise the...
