Glad to hear your success story! It is always great when the final resolution is reported.

    hydraulic issues BX23

I believe the MMM is operated along with the 3PH. Never checked mine to see how it is mechanically connected, but I am sure it is. Is the 3PH also not moving upward? I do not have any real input to add to the above suggestions, but think verifying the 3PH is operating correctly/not operating...

Agree! It took me a year before I got the second tractor... :ROFLMAO:

Yep! That is the thread I was remembering... (y)

    wow, the unicorn does exist

Isn't that the truth! Same thing here. I did buy an old mini ex in fairly descent cosmetic condition recently for about 20 percent more than a BH77 would have cost installed on a new L2501 that I was considering. So there are possibilities out there. Too cold for me to enjoy messing with it...

    MMM blade change

So the question is, has the blade been removed, or is it still in place? If in place, then likely it is the spline boss that 85hokie pointed to. If the blade is off...could be item 60 in armylifer's illustration I suppose... Hopefully the OP will clarify.

    ROPS Question

that is not the tread I remember. I remember the poster showing images of what his son modified for him to accomplish the goal. The hinge hardware remained original. Just the pins/bolts that need removed to lower the ROPS were modified.

    Bought my first tractor

Good you moved quick! When I read PoTreeBoy's comment, could not help but remember a number of times on forums when people have asked if something was a good deal, then came back and said they missed the deal because they hesitated... Looks like you did good!

    Barn find trencher project

Excellent addition to a BX. Wish I had one for those times it would be priceless to get something like wire or small conduit in the ground fast and easy!

    ROPS Question

If I did that I would probably use grade 8 bolts, long ones with enough unthreaded length to pass through, then cut off the threaded part and drill for a spring pin of some type. Would not use anything less than grade 8 for safety... I think there was thread here or at Tractorbynet where a guy...

    An Addition and a Change

I am thinking now that it might even be possible to use bolts and nuts, possible locked in place with red locktite or with the nut tacked to the end of the bolt... Bolts and nuts are cheap at tractor supply.

    Ordered this today.

When reading this my first thought was "Good luck getting a local machine shop to make knives at a competitive price!" Really, I can't imagine a local shop could provide replacements at a similar or cheaper price than a source that probably makes hundreds of the item after setting up the...

Inner ball joint boot replacement for a B2601 or B2301

I can not help with an answer to your question for a replacement, but can say it sure looks like if all else failed, you could pull a piece of bicycle inner tube over it, and pump it full of grease, and squeeze the two ends with zip ties and be home free for a while... Hopefully someone with a...

    B2650 feels sluggish

Just another thought. Worst case, you could take the incoming hose and outgoing hose off the new valve assembly and connect them together. This would eliminate the valve relatively easily (the power beyond connections, for lack of a better term), and you could verify that what you think you are...

    B2650 feels sluggish

I had a really strange thing happen with my tractor where I lost power but the tractor seemed to work normally. Turned out that after installing my 3PH backhoe, I forgot to lower the 3PH position lever and I was at the edge where the position control would fight to lift the 3PH, but could not...

    Examples of Kubota Backhoe Skills

I think engine speed does affect the power of the backhoe. Perhaps that is why I have not had an issue with damage to the tractor using the Kubota factory 3PH backhoe on my B2910. I have either learned to live with reduced power or the difference is not that great. Do not know. Mine is...

    Almost became a smoker!

I read that people who smoke were going to jump to the front of the line for covid vaccinations as it was considered an underlying health issue in some states... I figured I would bum a cigarette of someone and take a puff, and become a smoker, so I would not be lying when I tried to get an...

    Is the BX1880 enough

1 acre is not a lot. The smaller BX will probably do everything you want it to. A wider MMM may stick out more and make cutting close to things easier. IF the cost difference is not much, I would go with the increased HP offered in other models, just because I would want to be sure I had what...
