Hydraulic B2620: bucket "down" intermittent, screech ty noise

Do you mean a screech when you dump the bucket down, or when you lower the loader arms? Screech or whine? It has been reported that SUDT produces less whine than UDT. As 85Hokie asked, what fluid did you put in when you changed it. Also good idea to do what he suggested and see what the...

    Rear Chains on

Those are really nice chains. Would also work well on R4 tires, which I have. Ladder chains mostly fall between the lugs.

    B20 advice?

I see adds all the time on the local Craig's list offering equipment at unbelievably cheap prices. Scammers. Ask for an address or location, they will not respond. Often the location shown on the Craig's list add makes no sense...like in the center of the city, but the picture shows a rural...

    Bucket chain hooks?

I would think the greatest risk to the cylinders would be if the bucket were in the full dump position, and you were back dragging. Chance of bending a cylinder rod if you hit something hard, since the force generated would tend to compress the cylinders. I would GUESS that lifting with the...

    MX5400/6000 Cab Buddy seat

Gee NHSleddog, I'm not a farmer so I get the feeling I should feel offended by your post, but I don't! Go figure...LOL

Anybody use a box blade WITHOUT top & tilt?

Here is a link to an old thread over at TBN where I detailed what I did building the T&T for my B2910. I believe it has details including where I sourced parts. Looks like I talked a lot more back then than I do now! :oops...

    V1505 cranks but won’t start

Were proper procedures followed when changing the pump? I don't know what they might be, but remember reading that shims are involved and required for setting timing of the fuel injection properly. Maybe someone who knows can speak on the importance of proper timing and if an out of time...

Anybody use a box blade WITHOUT top & tilt?

I probably used a poor choice of words for the tread title.:( Before I had T&T I think I used my box blade like many do, manually adjusting as needed. Back when I installed remotes for my T&T, I installed four valves for four remotes. To date only use three remotes, and that is because I use...

    Replacement hydraulic hoses

I think the issue is Lowest Cost VS Needed length. Lowest cost would probably something made in standard lengths, like maybe 6" increments. But your hoses may be odd lengths. AND the OEM end fittings may be different that what the cheapest hoses have as standard. Like the other guys have...

    Growing vegetables indoors

Can not help but think there may be a site out there that might offer more experience than one specific to tractors... I do not mean to imply those who have given advice are not knowledgeable, just thinking there MUST be people out there that are successfully doing what you are attempting...

    This is pretty cool

One advantage is you do not embed a lot of dirt in the log if you plan on milling it into boards...dirt impacts saw blade life...

    Concrete Workbench top?

Be prepared for a shock if you do. I bought some 8' 2x4s a month or so ago, and they cost just a bit under $5 each! More than double what I am used to paying..

    Reducing hr meter

I think I would go the add hours route too, to minimize risk. You can either add 4200 hours, or subtract 5800 hours, to end up with 1200 displayed (if starting at 7000), so adding should be a bit faster...if actually doing this is practical. :)

    Reducing hr meter

How many digits on the hour meter? If only four, which may toggle back to zero at 9999, looks like it would be faster to spin the input in the normal direction. Anyone know the gear ratio of the tachometer cable spinning the hour meter? If one hour at 2500 RPM engine speed shows 1 hour on the...

B7100 question: Is this a broken head bolt?

Just a question from a no-nothing guy that is interested. NIWM, do you mean that broken head bolts or missing head bolts are common? I do not have a clue, but curious...

    Losing interest in R14 tires...

I regained interest in the R14 tires, but then gave up on my idea to buy a new tractor/backhoe, and instead bought an older Kubota KX-41-2V mini ex. Just realized that I have a perfectly serviceable tractor for my needs, and readjusted my thinking... Pretty much concluded if I were to buy a...

    PDF Version of Kubota WSM?

I decided I have no issue with buying the relatively expensive Kubota WSM and Operators manuals that I desire for my recently acquired older KX41-2 mini EX. BUT I would really prefer to have both a hard copy AND a PDF copy. I have looked on line and cannot determine if what is offered cheap is...

    Dealer Distance/Issues

Valid point. Need to play the odds. For me worrying about warranty work would have been a moot point. BUT no way to predict the future with certainty. A sample size of two is not statically relevant, for sure.

    B2910 price

I have a B2910. No belly mower but a loader. Mine is the same vintage and almost 1900 hours. I would think with the belly mower AND loader (I assume that is what you mean when you say bucket) that would be a great price. I find having a loader most valuable. I do my mowing with a BX with 60"...

    Dealer Distance/Issues

This caught my eye as it is true for me. My Kubota tractors are going on 19 and 17 years old. I never needed to go back to the dealer for anything except parts (And not many). If you need him, then a good dealer is certainly a great thing. But playing the odds, maybe delivered price for what...
