    Camera mounting on Kubota M4-071

Errrrmmm, not wasting my time suppoting Google (youtube) by donating free content for them to make money off of 🤣 But, if you have a cab, I’d think a suction cup mount on the glass would be the way to go 👍

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Can you clarify more precisely which seals are spared by sticking to only 2WD? All of the front shafts are spinning when the tractor moves — so, I’m quite confused by your proclamation.

The top-n-tilt top link is already damaged. User error or poor design?

That heim joint needs to hit the gym and bulk up!! Very poorly designed with such a thin walled outer ring that’s heavily point loaded by the square-edged “ball”. Just nothing to support it from collapsing.

The top-n-tilt top link is already damaged. User error or poor design?

Lotta speculation about driving into ditches and implements and such… I’d love to understand better how a compression load has stretched the side of the heim joint that only sees tension loads 👂

    Oil change interval

The “3-months or 3000 miles” marketing slogan has truly messed with oil change interval perception. Yes, time does *eventually* matter, but, more importantly is how was the storage and operating usage characteristics. Moisture reacts with combustion by-products to slowly acidify the oil...

Implement storage is getting to be a real problem!

With only 2 implements not including the FEL, I’m hardly “suffering” and obviously need to catchup with y’all. The first one that builds an ‘implement turret’ or carousel get’s my vote for coolest solution 😂

Not Orange... but FooBert started this....any Heavy Machine Operators out there??

Based on your empirical observations, perhaps this system has a constant displacement pump and your valve in question is modulating the bypass fraction. You could test this by fully opening the valve, set the direction lever to full speed, and observe if there's any increase in speed after...

Weight limits on Cat 1 attachments

More correctly, it should ride "about the same" as unloaded tire at the same pressure. In both cases, there's enough air in the tire to allow for compression from bumps. In the loaded tire case, it's just a smaller volume of air.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Having spent enough time running a "real" excavator, just watching action videos of a BH77 on a tiny tractor is painful. It was an easy pass when scoping my tractor mission.

Weight limits on Cat 1 attachments

Cat1 pins are unlikely to be the first source of failure from overload. .875" pin w/ 85Kpsi ultimate strength (low end for medium steel) can withstand a sheer load 50000# of before failure. This is a very simplistic loading model compared to what's really applied on the pin, but just maybe...

    What’s Your Pucker Factor?

I have a hill that's probably a little steeper than that at it's worst spot. It's flat enough to turn around at the top, so my intention is to go up/down. I don't want to load the tires (unnecessary compaction), but, ya got me thinking about some spacers. It's all theoretical until my mower...

RPM’s & hydro stress while working land.

This is a great question. It might help to think about what a hydrostatic transmission is: 1) A dedicated variable displacement, reversible flow hydraulic pump 2) a hydraulic traction motor (typically fixed displacement) The pump and motor are hydraulically connected via 2 oil passages that...

Trying to figure out the sharpening -- do you have something capable of driving those directly into the ground?

    New Laptop - setup questions

The answer sorta depends on what you want (if anything) from OneDrive. Kinda sounds like you don't really want your files to be automatically backed up to the "cloud". If that's the case, you can just stop OneDrive, and un-install it. Assuming you have Window's 10 this article will walk you...

    Bill to end livestock "abuse".........

First result of searching for Oregon Bill IP13. It's a proposed ballot measure initiative that is in the "signature gathering" phase. The question is, will 112K Oregonians sign the petition to give this lunacy enough legitimacy to actually land on the state ballot? That's only ~2.5% of the...

    New LX 3310

What's the recommended pressure of rears and what pressure are you running? From another thread, the R14's have a very high pressure rating (40 psi in that case) and the manual was recommending operating at that pressure! Sure, the tires support a very hefty load rating -- over 3x the...
