Orb Weaver. They are cool spiders. Nice shot!
Yep. My former SIL had one at their house. Each evening it would spin a huge web across their garage door opening. Then, early every morning it would take the web down. He/she/they/them would just hang out during the day.

It is probably just the recent heat wave that is making me miss Fall football :) These are a couple of the many photos I captured last season. The first with a Canon 1DX Mark II with EF 70-200 f2.8 and the second with Canon 1DX Mark III with EF 400 f2.8 lens.

Man some of you guys are just blessed to live in those scenic places..

Commercial grade photo op👍
Most people think Nevada is a vast wasteland other than Reno or Las Vegas. I discovered "the rest" of Nevada 50+ years ago, moved here and can't be happier. Above view is looking east from the house. This one is looking west. (Hope I don't get banned for putting a green tractor on an orangetractor site!)

Saw Challenger land at Offutt when I lived out there in roughly 1985, It's next flight was the last. Our class was supposed to go to the coast to watch a liftoff but we had to cancel because it was winter, and planes were not going anywhere due to weather conditions. Challenger lifted off on Jan 28 and never landed.

The colors in nature really are amazing.

I got up real early with the wife one morning and traveled an hour to get this picture. It poured rain for hours the night before and the field was a mess. This shot lasted for under a minute. It was literally a one minute window where the sun went from no ray, to ray, to blast.

Think I recognize that field. East of Bethel, Maine on RT 2 ? Beautiful picture !

A few shots from my oak savanna habitat project. Pale purple cone flower with lance leaved coreospis in the background. Ohio spiderwort and monarch on milkweed. The seed pods are wild Lupine which I pick , dry and separate the seeds for planting in areas that are lacking Wild Lupine.

The deer and the coyote shots are awesome! It's almost as though the coyote sensed it or heard activation.. do the cameras have any kind of sound when activated? We may not hear it but they may..

What was the first pic of?

The quality of those especially the deer are really good for a trail cam although I know nothing about them, great way to catch wildlife action. Thanks for posting!

The first picture is a bobcat. The last is an owl.
The coyote picture was the 3rd one. I got it set to take 3 pictures every 15 seconds after motion detected. The second picture got his attention and he looked at the camera on the 3rd.
The owl was attracted to a flash prior. I think a raccoon set it off before the owl swept in.
I can't hear the camera, but coyotes and deer can. I'll have to post some more. Got some good deer photobombs.

I have a 300w equivalent LED "streetlight" up high on the cabin that attracts all kinds of bugs.
Shot this last night, he was about 18-20ft up, .
Appears to be a variety of Sphinx Moth, but never seen one with that exact pattern of "eyes".
Those grooves in the siding are 4" on center.

These are from my first attempts at astrophotography earlier this year, the Orion nebula and the whirlpool galaxy.

There is a definite learning curve and I am a lot more comfortable with sports photography but I plan to fine tune my technique and equipment setup.
