Most people think Nevada is a vast wasteland other than Reno or Las Vegas. I discovered "the rest" of Nevada 50+ years ago, moved here and can't be happier. Above view is looking east from the house. This one is looking west. (Hope I don't get banned for putting a green tractor on an orangetractor site!)Man some of you guys are just blessed to live in those scenic places..

Saw Challenger land at Offutt when I lived out there in roughly 1985, It's next flight was the last. Our class was supposed to go to the coast to watch a liftoff but we had to cancel because it was winter, and planes were not going anywhere due to weather conditions. Challenger lifted off on Jan 28 and never landed.Dicovery's (OV-103) last flight, 4/17/2012 7:09 AM over the beach at Cape Canaveral on its way north to the Smithsonian to become an exhibit.

Think I recognize that field. East of Bethel, Maine on RT 2 ? Beautiful picture !The colors in nature really are amazing.
I got up real early with the wife one morning and traveled an hour to get this picture. It poured rain for hours the night before and the field was a mess. This shot lasted for under a minute. It was literally a one minute window where the sun went from no ray, to ray, to blast.

The deer and the coyote shots are awesome! It's almost as though the coyote sensed it or heard activation.. do the cameras have any kind of sound when activated? We may not hear it but they may..These are from my trail cam fairly recently.

What was the first pic of?
The quality of those especially the deer are really good for a trail cam although I know nothing about them, great way to catch wildlife action. Thanks for posting!
What telescope were these shot through? These are from my first attempts at astrophotography earlier this year, the Orion nebula and the whirlpool galaxy.
There is a definite learning curve and I am a lot more comfortable with sports photography but I plan to fine tune my technique and equipment setup. View attachment 83011

Those were shot using my Canon EF 800 f5.6 lens. Because of the pandemic and stuff being out of stock, I just received the pieces needed to mount my Celestron CPC 1100HD telescope (basically equivalent to a 2800mm f10 lens for astro) and tracking scope to my Skywatcher mount so hopefully I will have a chance to try that setup soon. What telescope were these shot through?
(trying to decide if mine is adequate to attempt this)
Stunning !!!!!Those were shot using my Canon EF 800 f5.6 lens. Viewing conditions are at least as important as the optical part in getting photos and they vary radically and never seem to be great when I have time.
For comparison, the first photo is of the moon using the Canon EF 800 f5.6 lens and the second is using the Celestron CPC 1100HD.
And the EF 800 lens feels more at home doing wildlife. I shot this last year on the Mississippi river in northern IL using the EF 800 lens with 1.4X extender and it is still heavily cropped because the eagle didn't want to get close. It was a worse day for the fish.

I thought it was a bobcat.. just wasn't sure Michigan had em.The first picture is a bobcat. The last is an owl.
The coyote picture was the 3rd one. I got it set to take 3 pictures every 15 seconds after motion detected. The second picture got his attention and he looked at the camera on the 3rd.
The owl was attracted to a flash prior. I think a raccoon set it off before the owl swept in.
I can't hear the camera, but coyotes and deer can. I'll have to post some more. Got some good deer photobombs.
Awesome shots.. looking at that fish you almost feel bad for him. He's like oh shiz. Never seen one that close up getting carried away, again very nice! Those were shot using my Canon EF 800 f5.6 lens.
