    L3130 engine replacement

Maybe I'm way off base here, but how does "good lower end access" help in checking and/or changing main bearings? Repairing an oil starved engine you would do it without regard to them?

    Oil filter wrench

I have one similar to this that works pretty well for filters that screw on from the side and have limited access all around them...

    electrical section

I think it would be a great idea if the logistics could be worked out. Google searching usually turns up a bunch of stuff that can't be trusted. I'm always looking for diagrams, and all too often even if I find what I'm after it's too small to distinguish any details. Then the components are...

    Kubota B3350SU Emmisions Lifetine Warrenty

No alternative? Are you serious? I wasn't aware that one can no longer purchase or own a tractor that still has a "common sense" fuel system. That day may be coming, but it's not here yet.

    Kubota B3350SU Emmisions Lifetine Warrenty

Who cares what Kubota paid or didn't pay? Bigger question is why would anyone want to own a tractor that has (or needs) all that crap?

L275DT - new loader power beyond question

Remove the existing fittings and/or plugs on the outlet side of the valve body and look inside the vacant ports. One will have an open space then a machined bore directly in line with the port's threads. The others will have just open space and rough cast surfaces. The machined bore is where...

L275DT - new loader power beyond question

Your point is well made. I can't imagine how many times I've tried to explain this point to individuals in this same situation. Usually it sinks in, but not always. It doesn't help much when some ex spurt jumps in with his claims of having this or that system without power beyond and it's "been...

    third function

It may seem ridiculous, but it's far too common in too many places. It seems dealers have the same problems getting (and keeping) good help as any other business in today's crazy world. Everywhere I go shops are understaffed. Things go undone, machinery sits around for weeks without being worked...

I hope that does you some good and maybe helps out down the road.

Kubota's with Roof Mounted A/C system

I don't see a lot of foam on the tractors I work on. When I see the high pressure exceed 350 PSI (with the hood open or closed), what I consider an undersized condenser six inches or more away from the nearest cooler, and a battery in front of it, I start thinking some extra airflow might help...

    More A/C questions

I'm not sure I follow you on that. I haven't actually seen this thermostat yet, nor have I found it in any of the parts diagrams, so I don't know yet just what's available for replacement parts yet either. I would have thought the sensor would be part of the unit and sold together as a package...

    More A/C questions

I'm going to be visiting this tractor again over the coming weeks. Now that the bulk of the heat wave has subsided in this area, and much of what the tractor is used for will slow down soon I'm hoping to revisit the A/C circuits in a bit more detail. After studying the diagram posted by...

Kubota's with Roof Mounted A/C system

Moving more air is not always a solution. The fan is probably drawing plenty of air, it's a matter of where that air flows. The condenser is often out front and some distance from the radiator and other coolers, so much of the air flowing goes around the condenser rather than through it. Adding...

Kubota's with Roof Mounted A/C system

Adding an electric fan isn't a "Flip only" design, by any means. I've mounted them on a number of tractors, not just Kubota. I find that all too often the airflow through the condenser is somewhat lacking on many tractors for various reasons. Sometimes the space between the condenser and...

What engine in a Massey 135 has a compression release?

    Primer Fuel Pump

For what it's worth. I've never had good luck with the little round style pumps. (like this one) Never had one last more than an hour in operation...

    M9000DT Propeller shaft seals.

Okay, so it's possible to do this with a single split? I will approach it from that standpoint. Sometimes you start a project in limited work space only to find out you're backed into a corner once you're half way into it. We've all had that happen a time or two.

    M9000DT Propeller shaft seals.

I found an oil leak on an M9000 today. It appears to be transmission fluid leaking into, then dripping out of, the propeller shaft tube. Collapsing the tube proves it's coming from the transmission side. After looking through all my downloads I concluded I do not have the WSM on the M9000...

    M125X Hydraulic issue

It's been too long since I was in there. I don't remember if there were studs involved, but missing a nut on one could well have an effect on sealing the tube to the pump housing.
