That's the one! Silly me, I had the link saved in my favorites, didn't I? And looks like he's added more stuff for the LX Series. Was starting to wonder if the LX was gonna be an orphan.Check specialtyrepaircustoms![]()

Didn't you give me a link one time that lists local sawyers with travelling road shows like yours? I've got a couple pretty big short leave pines (actually on my neighbor's property but leaning on trees on my property) that need to come down. I'd rather not waste them if I can get some lumber out of them to build a lean-to for my tractor equipment.View attachment 85484
I finished sawing this customer's logs yesterday and his M6800 did an amazing job handling the logs.

I sawed mostly square stuff from the crooked logs seen above ranging from 2 1/2" to 5".

And Quarter Sawn lumber from the better White & Red Oak logs.
I have one too, a 1991 model I bought in 1993.I made the BX2380 jealous… View attachment 85604 View attachment 85605
Very nice looking old tractor.I have one too, a 1991 model I bought in 1993.
Permanently relegated to snow removal though.

RCW, I essentially did the same thing. I confirmed the winter contract price and quantity of propane.Just moved the Kubota out of the way to start the annual stowing of the wood pellets. Early start in case there’s a shortage. Will need another ton or two.

Can you tell I burn oil. Here is my winter stash.Just moved the Kubota out of the way to start the annual stowing of the wood pellets. Early start in case there’s a shortage. Will need another ton or two.
Thanks much. Found a few ‘nearby’ sawyers. Will take a closer look on the PC and make a few calls. Might try Faceplant marketplace too. Few are any closer than you are, so might not be cost effective to get em sawn. Shame, cause both the ones that need to come down immediately are at least 24” at the stump and 60’ tall. I have several others that I should probably cull as well because they’re beetle targets with lightning and wind damage. Just don’t want to put em down and create a bigger problem than I already have. There’s probably enough for all the rough lumber I need for the lean-to and then some. This may work: LINK
Mike - I haven’t checked recently, but guessing HHO and kerosene are $5.50 or so? Highest I recall is $4.09 in 2008. Both are common here. I have an oil boiler for backup. Can you tell I burn oil. Here is my winter stash.

Aren't you in LA? I see one in Vancleave and another in Lucedale, MS. You may also look at NW Florida. Thanks much. Found a few ‘nearby’ sawyers.
Man this is the most spot-on name for it I've ever seenMight try Faceplant marketplace too.
Thanks.Very nice looking old tractor.
Not knocking burning pellets I have considered it myself! Just paid $3.99 for oil! My delivery guy said the highest he saw this year was 5.19 a gallon! My new boiler sips fuel! So glad I installed a new boiler last year! Propane was 2.88 but I dont think it lasts as long as oil does. I cant remember how much pellets my neighbor said he burned in a year but I remember it was more than twice the amount of coal I used when i used to burn coal. He also complained about the quality of the pellets he purchased last year. I played with wood, then coal, now I just like to push the thermostat!Mike - I haven’t checked recently, but guessing HHO and kerosene are $5.50 or so? Highest I recall is $4.09 in 2008. Thinking a lot of people are going to get a very poor surprise in September and October.
Natural gas access is limited. Pretty rural.
