Day 3 and finally done. Pulled out some more HUGE boulders and "replanted" them in backfill.

I just heard that we will be back in the spring to do the entire right side of the building as well.

The coupling for the blower might not be lined up. Move the lever to the uncoupled position and remove the cover (4 bolts). With the pto lever in the rear position you can rotate the coupling to where it lines up correctly. This happened to me my first time through it too.

We had about 2.5 inches of snow this past weekend. It was wet and heavy, the ground wasn't frozen so I left it. This morning I leveled the ruts and speed bumps out so I could walk better. Pros and cons vs the tractor and atv

Pulled a RAM 4500 dually with a dump body and trailer out of my ditch/field with L45. Had to drop the trailer to get the truck out. Picked up trailer with my little 1500 4*4 and got it all back up and on the road for the guys that were fixing my house this week. No pics but my yard is a mess lol

You might want to do a full inspection of their work. They have a truck and trailer and don't know how to drive. Don't be so sure they know how to "fix" things.

I put on my chains today. A wet and merky day but above freezing. I use the "H" pattern chains because I depend on them a lot and they can't hide between the lugs on my R1 tires. I use the "drive them on" method to mount them. I have a length of rope with a hook on each end. Hook near the center of the chains and loop the rope over a set of tires lugs.

P1020614.JPG

Drive forward, stopping to check once in a while, that they are well centered.

P1020615.JPG

When you get all the way around the chains are tight and with "H" chains there is plenty of slack to hook the centers. At least 6' of slack here.

P1020616.JPG

Then when you hook the side chains and close the long cam levers everything tightens up - easy peasy.

Got to participate in one of our local towns christmas parade today . We where originally going to go and just be spectators but I havent gotten any seat time in a week or two and was looking for any excuse. Had to take the counterweight back off amd I still wasn't sure if the tractor was going to fit on my tiny little 4x8 harbour freight trailer (sketchy) with the new plow configuration. We'll it didn't fit very well frontwards as the plow was hanging wayyyy too far forward and I was in danger of hitting the tailgate that I just had repaired when I turned. Soo I did what any logical person would do and put it in backwards, still sketchy but slightly less, and I only had to go a few miles (famous last words)
No pictures of that debacle and I'm sure if I had any and posted them here I would get an ear full from the safety Sallies anyway that part worked "ok" and I made it to town trailer sides and ramps in the truck tractor on the trailer with less then a couple inches on either side.
Got to town unloaded the trailer put the sides on "decorated" the trailer, so the Mrs and month old boy could ride in the back, and Little B and joined what was said to be roughly 90 other tractors side x sides trucks and other odds and ends ranging from a couple zero turns all the way up to full on 100hp + ag machines even had 4 Lamborghini tractors show up.
Few pictures below

Stored the pallet forks and the FEL/Bucket for the winter, put the front mount snowblower on, and put the plow blade on the Polaris ATV for the "small stuff". Pretty much guarantees no snow until February!

Next year, I'm going to use the loader to get my mower deck back and forth from its storage orientation. I have the axles that allow you to store it vertically when not in use (they are great and save a bunch of space), but I've been lifting and lowering it myself for the past three years. Let me tell you, that ~400lb deck (RCK60-30BB) isn't getting any lighter as I continue to get older. Work smarter not harder as they say...
Mine have been used for 6 years. A previous tractor, now this one. These made to order at the time. No Longer Available.

Got some 80" logs out of the woods, blocked up, split and stacked. Also got some pole wood out, was a little long, but I was able to get through the woods with it. Was a little tight getting around the corner of the shed. The logs and pole wood are from a Maple that was blown down a couple months ago.

Cleaned up last night's snowfall.
I'm jealous. We have only had a bunch of rain with some flurries on occasion to date.
