Don't know how long you've had an ag exemption, but in most counties in Texas if you have an ag for at least 5 years you can change it to a wildlife exemption. Depending on county the requirements may be extremely simple of in my case Bandera County it gets a little more complicated. Another route is bees. In Bandera County 5-10 acres and you can qualify.
Yeah I'm aware of the wildlife exemption. The situation that most folks overlook is converting over to wildlife exemption, your not supposed to be using a sales tax exemption anymore for your property/farm. Dont get caught in an audit. Also it makes it a lot harder to write off equipment/expenses or have 5 year depreciations if ypur currently using schedule F for IRA taxes.

When did that change? Everyone I know uses exemption on all purchases that are used to maintain their property and not for home improvements.
When your property is No longer an Ag exemption, timber, status etc your no longer in a business to produce products or provide livestock or crops etc for resale.. Legally your not supposed to buying goods&services for your wildlife exemption property tax free. Like I said, I wouldn't want to be the one that gets an audited from the State. Get with a CPA, for sound advice.

Atleast the last 8 or 9 years that I know.

It's almost 70 degrees out today so a great time to put on the snowblower, a sure guarantee no snow this year.

The caster adapter I put together last year is just awesome for storing and moving. Such a simple accessory - 4 casters and 2 pieces of angle iron :)
I just rolled it behind the tractor and postioned it for easy access to the pto. After mounting, just lift and change to skid shoes.

Found a set of rear wheel weights for the B7100 All cleaned up and painted. Installed and hope they make a difference when plowing snow this winter.
Now to find a set that will work with my B7000. Rear or front.

Picked up an old tire from the woods yesterday. Forks made easy work of it. Mowed the wife's wildflower meadow and then got ready for winter by putting the snowblower on today.

To keep it simple, if you no longer have an expedition you have to pay a sales tax like everyone else right? Seems pretty straight forward.
The reason I ask is my neighbor (Calif. resident) whom I used to work for has had wildlife for over 30 years, before that for about 10 his dad ran cattle on the place.
Anytime I bought anything that was to be used to maintain the place I never paid tax.
Bandera County had some pretty strict rules on wildlife exemption. He had me keep records of everything and bunches of pictures of everything they required and more. He would overwhelm the tax office with paperwork every year and never had a problem. Biggest savings so far was the 5500 gallon water tank that looks like it's made of stone, I'm sure you've seen them, over $10k, so he cleared it with his accounts and there it was in all it's splendor.
As far as IRS, he had 2 accountants, one for his business in California, and one for Texas.
Never a tax problem, so I'm not quite sure what you are trying to tell me.

Not been on the little B for almost a month! :( Buddy had 3 tandem loads of top soil delivered and needed it spread around his new garage. So, loaded her up today and tried out my new tractor puller! Went from a 1/2 ton Hemi to 3/4 ton Cummins. Pulls like a dream! The little B did just fine moving and spreading the top soil. (-:

Moved some 80' and 60" logs today after work. Had to clear a path to the logs first. This is from one of the trees that was blown down from straight line winds we had a couple of months ago.

Got the LX out yesterday to move a Bagster out to the street to discard a bunch of scraps from the latest remodeling efforts. Put the grapple on so I'd have a closer hook-up on the straps, and the little LX carried the 8'x4' bag just fine. Loaded back tires and the box-blade hanging on the back seemed to be plenty ballast. Put it in low range to creep along and keep the load from swinging. Had to use my straps through the lifting eyes sewn into the bag. There's probably pretty close to 1000 pounds of debris in the bag. Sure was a lot faster than my previous methods for trash removal. I'd burn the wood scraps if we weren't under a burn ban, but the drywall scraps and other stuff with too much paint on it still has to be hauled off. So I'm giving "The Bagster" a try. A little pricier than I wanted, but just trying to see how quick they are.

Used the tractor and grapple to move some of the logs to block and split them today. Don't know how I got along without a grapple. I wish I have bought one a long time ago. The pallet forks I have worked pretty good. Better than taking the splitter to where I had fell the tree and hauling the split wood to our stacking area. I do miss my old Ford 2000, but I wouldn't give up my L3901DT.

After blowing leaves out of the fire pit area and the train layout I removed the BH and put the 3 point rake on.

It took less than an hour to clean the yard.

Nice train lay out. I have Lionel O scale and the wife and I are talking about getting a G scale for around our Koi pond and bog.

Hi. New member here. I bought a 2007 BX2350 in Missouri last month, it sadly had what I would call abuse of a bad mechanic. I believe he misdiagnosed a fuel issue and instead removed the head. The owner gave up on the mechanic after he held it for over a year. I have ordered almost all the parts to redo the head gasket, fuel filters, fuel pump and see what happens. Last night drained all fluids and replaced filters. This morning I checked the electrical, had to clean the positive terminal and she is showing 1372 hours. The fuel pump was clicking nicely so may skip replacing it. Hoping to have it running by Christmas.

And a big ol' welcome from the Heart of Dixie.

Looks like it was at least stored in a shed and isn't so filthy/weathered. Probably a good buy depending on what you paid. Hope you got a good deal on it. You should get a lot of use out of it once you get the engine going. I was a little concerned that it was missing the hood, but then looked closer and saw it on the other side of the trailer. I also spotted that tooth bar. That's going to make a HUGE difference in a tractor that small. I'll bet winching that thing up on the trailer with ratchet straps took a minute. Now that you have the little tractor to haul, might be a smart idea to get an inexpensive winch and mount it on the trailer, for those times when it might be more prudent to winch it on than to drive it on.

Good luck with your repairs, and hope you get it running quickly. Again, welcome aboard. There's PLENTY of expertise and creativity here if you need it.
