250 gal tank is below the (pictured) 2' x 7' pit?
Sewage macerator/pump is in the 2' x 7' pit,...... or in the tank?
Very strange indeed.
Is this type system common in your area?

Macerator/Pump resides inside the 2'x7' tank. Waste enters thru 4" PVC and is ejected out thru the 1.5" poly line. I don't think they are very common, but I've seen a few of them. I really don't know why they are done this way. Proximity to sewer line???

OK - point of clarification. That waste system is located below the city sewer system. The elevation is too low, so the waste needs to be pumped up into the city sewer.

Got it!
Thank you.
Makes sense now.

Macerator/pumps are a horrible idea, but are sometimes unavoidable.
They are expensive, and their failure dates/times are quite predictable..
They will only fail at the very beginning of a 3 day holiday weekend, with 20 party guests invited.

Did I mention that I had a macerator/pump system ONCE?
(I kept an expensive spare)
Never again will I even consider a building/house with a macerator/pump!

Sounds like what was wrong with my starter. Contacts in the solenoid get dirty/worn and don't pass the juice to the starter motor when it engages. I posted some pics about the repair about a month ago. Pretty easy fix.
We will know this weekend. I’ll search that post out. Would be nice to have a working spare on the shelf

Leveled the driveway out before the snow arrives (it’s been less than perfect since the last time I plowed hah). Started with the snowpusher as sort of a poor man’s box blade. Worked only okay. Then switched to bucket for back dragging and finer level finish.

I also moved this winter’s firewood near the house. I really like using these IBC totes for firewood.

There are those who will say that back dragging is not a good idea.

The caution for back dragging is to not roll the bucket all the way back (where the cutting edge as close to the tractor as it can go) and apply down pressure while in reverse. That process can cause bent rams in cylinders.

Like @D2Cat pointed out, I’m under the impression the real problem with back dragging is doing so with the bucket curl rams extended far. Hopefully I’m alright, haven’t busted anything yet!

One step closer to getting my "Thumb" on...

Got the mount positioned last night and held in place with a couple self-tapping screws. Drilled two holes, top and bottom through the 3/8" plate on the drill press, then mounted it to the arm. Once properly positioned, it was removed and fully welded. Once the mount is welded in place, the screws will be removed, and the holes closed.

Tomorrow...remove the paint on the dipper arm where the mount is located, and get the sucker welded in place. Prime and paint...and finished!!!

I had a fantastic day at the land. The weather was perfect, fall colors are peaking and had the help of a fine young man. He is a student at UW Stevens Point and hoping to go into land management working for the WI DNR and eventually into his own company. I am working on clearing a slope down from my camping, picnic area and will be planting wild Lupine, a native forb, with a few other native species for good measure.

He really is enjoying the tractor seat time, something that he does not get with his university studies. Today he got his first lesson in taking off a 3pt hitch implement!

Used the L3901DT to move out trailer around with the pallet fork frame and ball mount. A lot easier than trying to maneuver with the truck.

That is if you don't take in a count for having to take the bucket off, put the pallet forks on and taking the forks off the frame. Then you have to do all that in reverse. This would be easier if I would add automated SSQA pin release to the FEL.

Hydraulic quick couplers are awesome especially if you go between the forks and bucket a lot like I do.

It's been my favorite upgrade that I did to the MX series tractor.

I guess the hydraulic quick coupler on my Skidloader spoiled me.
