Worked on the RTV 900 today:

New ignition switch
New 60A main fuse
New fuel filter
New air filters and evacuation valve
New Rotella and oil filter
New UDT and transmission filters

Oil was low, and BLACK. UDT was low, and milky green/brown. Rust on the frame thankfully isn't too bad, but goes to show what salt can do...ouch.

Waiting for the new wheels from Kubota and the steel for the floor and dump bed. Local lift truck company has a source for replacement starters and alternators for Kubota engines and should have the assembly housing for me next week. After that some paint, and need to see the local marine upholstery place for seats and she'll be as good as new.

I finally got tired of listening to the rops rattle as I operate the tractor. Found a use for those 2 welded on nuts in the lower part of the rops. Inserted a bolt in each and tightened them down until they removed the play in the upper half.

I pulled the silly "grate" that was mounted on the chute of the snowblower and likes to cause clogs.

I also sprayed it all down with a non-stick product.

Small things......

Yours works just fine.. I don’t remember my older Kubota having anything there.

Got some fresh air today in Northern Michigan, started clearing a new woodland food plot. This photo is one of 7 wood piles and brush piles. I will be back with the L3901 with the grapple to load the cut wood into a trailer, then the chipper to get rid of the brush. The track loader will make short work of all the short stumps and roots with a hydraulic tree puller, then I need to get back in to take the balance of the trees. Eventually will get in with the dozer and root rake to remove what ever I missed, and level things out, it should look good in a couple of months. I've got lots of projects planned depends if the weather will be cooperative.

Looks good! Just don't get too aggressive around the "leave" trees and damage the feeder roots that extend out to the drip line and beyond.

Yes, although low in GPM, there is plenty of pressure. I do not have the LP unit I design/built using an AugerTorque auger unit. I also have a cement drum I spin with it.

I am in NH, we are the "Granite State", digging here is hard. I was told by many on here that it would not work and I am glad I pressed ahead with the project. I have made/modified a couple bits to aid in the digging up here and they make a huge difference.

I have pictures of the project if you want some additional information.
I would love to know what and how you modified your AugerTorque? I've got one and it works, sort of, but wouldn't mind if there's something to be done to enhance it.

Cheers,
Magnus

Which AugerTorque model do you have? I was considering buying the 1100 -13 series which is a "low flow" 5-13 GPM i think 2601 is around 7-8.

Touche'

It is simultaneously a good thing and a bad thing to share.

Hopefully I will never need it.
Thing is will you remember where you
And then tie the front and back together with 2" angle iron to form the "nest" for the canopy. Now it was time to lift the canopy into place. I wanted the 4 post so that they would also serve as brush guards for the operator. A view from behind. The front post also serves as a brush guard for the FEL hydraulic controls & fittings. Now I need to get a couple of 90° pipes and dogleg the exhaust over to that front post.
that looks great.. heck you’re on your way to a full cab!

But that will be what I pay out, not what I'm worth.
Sorry I don’t have time for 75 more pages to see how it went, but I will catch up., I’m ready to have my shoulders done and was wondering how it came out.. taking as long to heal as they expected? I did not realize I was so far back when I posted about your canopy but looks great!

I don't know where the topic is either, but both my total knee replacement surgery in November, 2019, and the shoulder rotator cuff surgery in February, 2020 were absolute successes. No regrets on either. I was walking unaided and sawmilling in a sling in March. You can't keep a 76 (at the time) year old "old fart" down. ;)

It seems like every hobby I'm involved in contains a requisite number of 'old farts', myself included. What does that say?
